Being that woks and ewoks are from hunting and tracking cultures, they'd have above average senses of smell, but so would a Mountain Man, or a Botany expert.

plus, both are predatory creatures. Just look at the faces. Eyes are not wide set apart, they are more focused in one direction, rather than panoramic.
Eyesight has a far more important role in their skills.
