"You... you really are-- It's true then, what Seto said?" Isis, who had not spoken for a while, finally found her voice. Bakura glanced over at her in surprise, holding Rei loosely, looking as though he had forgotten she was there. "You're going to be wed?"

"I didn't know that..." Isis mumbled to herself, trailing off slightly. "Know what? That a cold monster like me would even have a heart, let alone one so easily captured?" Bakura remarked coldly, glaring slightly at Isis, his grip on Rei becoming more protective. Isis nodded, still looking awed.

Isis cleared her throat slightly, to remind them that she was still there, though her tanned skin had a hint of pink now in it. "I should... return to the palace. The pharaoh might notice my absence."

"So, um, you two can just... Right." She quickly got up and bolted to the doorway, moving surprisingly fast in the heat. Bakura sighed slightly when she left. "Well, that's one chance I had to get a Millennium item gone..." He muttered. "You know, I think that if I got one and learned how to use it, I would be able to fight more against that damned priest."

[Woah! I had forgotten to post as the pharaoh for a while! gonk Why didn't you tell me?]
Atem had been silent, wrapped in thought. He finally looked at the girl. "You're very nervous... Why is that? I don't intend on doing anything with you. If I was going to, I would have done something a little while ago. What is it that makes you so nervous?" "Automatically I would have to say Isis. She's female, and her arm was still injured from what I had done to her before. Plus she's awfully trusting." Bakura said, looking thoughtful. He leaned over and kissed Rei. "Do you think I should go kill her now to get the item? She can't have even left the village yet..."

Nanu let out a soft sigh. She was relaved she dident have to do anything but she still was nevous. "Well..your the pharoh...I've really never met sombody so..imporant..." she said with a small smile. She was hornored to just be in the same room as him.
Rei gently reached up "you can if you want to but..I'd rather much spend more time with you.." she said kissing him agian.

"Yes, of course... I've never had an equal in my life." Atem said, closing his eyes slightly. "There are only the very few who do not flinch when I get angry, who don't care what my status is. Seto, Bakura, and perhaps that girl Bakura is with. Otherwise, everyone I know is always tense around me." "Yeah, the Millennium Items can wait." Bakura said jokingly. "But you'll grow old soon and I'll have to find another person to take your place."

Rei pouted "im not going to grow old that fast.." she said "Anyways yourgoing to grow old as well..but then nobody could ever take your place.." she said kissing him "I wouldent want anybody else..."
"But your paroh..it is to be exspected.." nanu said with a kind smile.She was growing calmer as more time passed.

"Yes, I do suppose so." Atem said, opening his eyes. They violet hues seemed to have a ruby color mixed in with them, like an amethyst jewel being viewed with a red light behind it. His gaze flickered over to Nanu. "Who are you, anyway? It's obvious you aren't what you are dressed as. What's your name?" "Oh, if the pharaoh killed me in the next few days, you'd be sad for a while but then you'd get over it." Bakura said, perhaps a bit sadly, as he kissed her back.
