My friend and I finally opened our auction!! ^___^
I'm so excited~
This is the first art auction I've done. >w<;;

I went on vacation with my family in June, and... I was very disappointed to find that our hotel charged an exorbitant amount just to use the wireless internet for a few hours. T uT;;; Extortion!
So I didn't use it. xD But it was irritating not having internet for a week. ; w;

It's a Buddhist festival in Japan that honors the dead. Bon-Odori is the dance that happens at the festival... it's kind of old, so I'm not even sure if it goes on in Japan anymore, but here in Hawai'i we have Bon-Odori at all the Buddhist temples~ and everyone gets to go and dance in a circle around this big wooden scaffold thing, and they have drummers and a singer and stuff. It's really fun! xD
... but what about a cat-apple a day?

I suppose I have been lucky that all the places me and Dana have stayed have had decent internet connections. I only hope that stays the same in October when we go on our honeymood. I have schoolwork to do! sweatdrop

The White Mountains of New Hampshire. It's a nice, scenic, and rural area we used to visit as a family every summer when I was a little kid.
I hate it when they charge for internet...
I shall have to hear about it during my winter break. smile
