Sky wasn't one to always listen to orders so she shook her head and grinned. She leapt up from the bed and was racing for the door. She was all happy as she went downstairs for the kitchen, looking for her father-in-law.
She peeked inside for Drake.

Drake was in the kitchen, reading a book and minding his own business. Occasionally his tongue would flicker out, that was the only reason he knew that Sky was there. Looking up he smiled to her and spoke, "Good morning, Sky, how are you this lovely day?" He had not a clue she was about to tell him he was a grandfather, to him, that time was ages away.
Ra followed quickly after her, deeply concerned for her wellbeing and for the wellbeing of their child. He knew she'd never do anything to hurt her self or the baby, but the man worried nonetheless.

Sky crept in further before she sauntered over and wrapped her arms around him in a big hug. She was glad he was sitting down..
"Just wonderful!" She said grinning and kissing his cheek before she looked to her husband with that twinkle in her eye. She decided not to be beat around the bush and simply told him.
"Oh and you're going to be a grandfather soon." Okay not as blunt as she could have been.

Drake wasn't too suspicious yet, he just let her hug him assuming she was having a good day. The kiss on the cheek three him off a little, however, that was nothing compared to the news he got after that.
If he had been drinking anything, he would have spewed it. Pregnant!? It took him a few more minutes to be able to mumble anything close to coherent. Of course, the first thing he did was hug his daughter-in-law and think it was ironic his youngest son was the last to grow, had found a love after his sister and yet he was the first to prove he was an old man.
"Congratulations, Sky, I am happy for you and my son. Now where are those gray hairs?" The man did mope a bit, looking for the signs he was old. Never once did he show anything but joy in her news, but his other reactions came as well.

She laughed and kissed his cheek again and lightly tugged on his hair, teasing. "Not a gray hair in sight..."
She slid into a seat next to him and stared at the loaf of bread on the counter. A moment of nibbling her lip and the next she was up and making herself some toast and adding jam to it and nibbling at it.
So the cravings began...

youngshorty Alexis sighed and curled up in her seat, her hand clasped in Andras' as she rested her forehead against his hand in hers. She felt a tightening in her shoulders, stress building up.
He let her rest her head against his hand for a bit before he retrieved his hand and started massaging her shoulders. Whilst he was glad that she had found her mother again, he wondered about the timing. With her being pregnant, he guessed that the emotional stress her family put her through now wasn't helping, and the physical strain on her body earlier wouldn't have either.
"look on the bright side, Mistress. you finally know what happened to your mother"

True she did know what happened to her, after all the pestering of her father she did. She relaxed a little to his hands on her shoulders. So much information to absorb...
But what now? If Raven was her mother, it meant things have changed dramatically....

Song listened to the revelations, narrowing her eyes a bit as she watched Alexis' reaction. She couldn't help but think it was unfair the way she was treating Joe and Arioch about the situation. Both of them were tied down by unfortunate circumstances. She wanted to say something, but left it to the parents to speak. It wasn't her place.
For now, she snuggled in Arioch's arms, nuzzling his chest a bit. She couldn't help but be angry at the girl, but she kept quiet...or at least, tried to.

Alex just dealt with everything quietly. On the brightside, she finally knew who her mother was....on the downside, she didn't understand why she wasn't told sooner.
She relaxed to Andras' touch, closing her eyes before baby decided to make it's appearance known again to the world, creating the naustiation. Alex scrambled free of Andras' hands and the seat and raced for the bathroom her father had occupied just to relieve the contents of her stomach, as little as there was.
Arioch stroked Song's hair, a little surprised she was being so quiet. He kissed her cheek, smiling a little. He knew he and Joe were to blame for not saying something sooner....but since Arioch knew why Joe couldn't break the curse he just kept his trap shut.
See? The demon of chaos knew when to keep his yap shut. And he gave a partial truth. Joe was cursed...just not by who or what the curse was for.
Raven moved away from her seat to follow her daughter who was happy her hair was still pulled up from the first time she got sick. She did have a few memories of Alexis...though they were when she was younger and would wake from nightmares, asking for her daddy when he wasn't around.
It was moments like that that had Raven nearly choke on tears and get angry but she rarely showed the girl at the time. Now she was seeing her daughter go through something she didn't have the pleasure of remembering and thus wasn't sure how to help her out..

Song looked up at Arioch and nuzzled him when he stroked her hair. She was fighting a real urge to shriek at the attitude of Alexis, but she managed to keep it down. She simply sighed and pet over his shoulder, shaking her head a bit.

He followed closely behind Alexis, making sure she was ok, or at least, looked after. The entire family problem wasn't his after all, and wouldn't be his unless it somehow affected the health of his Mistress, at which point, he would do what he could.
Though when Raven showed up, he moved away from Alexis, letting her newly found mother deal with her.
He watched his daughter take off with her feed right behind her, and shortly after, Raven. All with a look that said he couldn't care less.
Once they had gone, he turned to Song and Arioch.
"That went better than expected.. "
Given the fact that no-one had turned violent and that apart from feeling nauseous they were all still alive, it had gone a lot better than he had hoped.

Arioch blinked at Joe and raised a brow. "They're still in shock...Don't be to surprised if one turns violent after it wavers..."
He warned his gently. He'd stayed with Raven to help raise the girl, another being who had taught her no but spoiled her none the less. She was certain one of them would....his question: Which one?
He knew both women had a temper...Alexis had a double dose due to who her parents were.
Raven knelt beside Alexis and simply rubbed her back, only to reach over for a cool cloth for Alexis to whipe her mouth with.
Alexis whimpered softly when she was finished heaving her guts, sinking down until she curled up in Raven's lap.

Song listened to them both and finally decided she couldn't keep quiet any longer. She sighed and then glared rather coldly at Joe.
"Aren't you concerned in the slightest about your daughter's well-being? She may have Raven and the dragon there, but when she first got sick, she asked for you.....her father." Her voice had a slight edge to it as she spoke, "Even now, when you know what the cause of the illness is, you're just standing here with that placid look on your face like you couldn't give a damn. Any father in their right mind would be at least slightly worried for their child, whether others are there or not."
She couldn't stop now even if she wanted to. Damn her honest personality.
"You dump this news about her mother on her and then figure that, now that she knows who Raven actually is to her, you can leave your responsibilities behind? And you don't even stand up for yourself when she accosts you about your reasons for not saying anything to her about it in the beginning? You're an adult! You're a parent! You're her father! Stop acting like a bloody child and grow a backbone! Master or none, you still have your own life to lead. Your past and your responsibilities are catching up to you at full speed and you can't keep running from them. You've got to stop and face them at some point. Why not now? You already made a good start."
Never once did she raise her voice, but it did gain a sharpness to it. Firm and steady it was as she lectured him. Once she was done, she sighed heavily and shook her head.
"I'm sorry. It's probably not my place, but I've said my peace already. I didn't mean to sound as harsh as I did." The look on her face showed that she truly regretted it, but once she let herself go, she couldn't stop until it was over.

Raven simply held her. Sure they both had issues to deal with....some they could do together. She smoothed Alexis' hair from her face, humming softly an old lullaby she use to do when Alex was younger.
Alexis curled up closer to Raven yet also reached out for Andras. She took comfort from Raven's presence.
Arioch looked a little startled at Song's sudden voiced opinion. He blinked a few times and wondered about speaking up again. Thoughts needed to be gathered for that.
Deciding he'd try, he spoke. "Song, he is concerned about her health..." he stopped there, unsure of what else to say.

"Yeah, I know"
He mumbled in reply to Arioch's pointing out the two women were still in shock. He looked dumbfounded at Song as she went off at him and once he was sure she finished he looked at her slightly puzzled, waiting for more, though once Arioch spoke, he was reasonably sure she'd give him a moment for some input before continuing.
"You're right, its not your place"
He put a hand to his head, damning the headace, it was annoying him.
"I've done what I can for her"
How much he'd done behind the scenes, Song would never find out. Hell, Arioch didn't know the half of it, though he knew that Arioch saw beyond the reason Joe had given for leaving Alexis in Raven's care. He couldn't teach his daughter morals and knew how much not having morals could screw a person over, it hadn't been what he wanted for her.
"She's an adult now and I can't hold her hand and lead her through life"
He had screwed his own life up enough to hope he hadn't screwed hers up as much and knew he wasn't any good at leading Alexis through life.
"Besides, the bathroom gets a little crowded with Raven and the dragon there"
He pointed out smirking slightly. If anything was to go wrong with her, he was sure he'd be the third to know, straight after her mother and her dragon until then, staying away from her feeder was a far better option than being in the same space as him.
He handed Raven the damp cloth as she reached out for it but other than that, stayed away from mother and child, giving them the space they needed.
When Alexis reached her hand out for him, he knelt next to her, giving his hand to her in a show that he would not abandon her.
