Ryou threw his arms around Kira's waist, trying his best to stifle his sobs. Shame already forgotten to the boy, he didn't seem to notice most of his actions at the moment, allowing himself to rest his head in Kira's lap as a pillow.

Kira just let him asshe finshed bandaging up his wounds.She gently petted his head "there there its okie.."

Ryou awoke with a jolt, amazed to see that it was already morning, sunlight streaming in from the nearest window. He paused for a moment, cringing as pain flooded his body, wondering why he woke up. A second later he was shown why, the phone ringing somewhere. Mind fuzzy from all of the flashing events, Ryou could barely remember where he was, paying no attention to the ringing phone as he tried to see past the pain and sort through his mind.

Kira had fell asleep and woke up when she heard the phone.She leaned over and picked it up "yes?" she said.

"What the hell happened?" Atem's sharp, angry voice demanded on the other line. "For the Gods' sakes, Bakura's coming over here with the smuggest little look on his face, and-- and--" Atem seemed near hysterical, worry lacing his voice, and there was a silence from him as the muffled voice of Yugi, somewhere in the background told him to calm down. A few moments later Atem returned to talking with Kira, his voice lower and gruff. "Well? Is what the b*****d said true? Has Ryou been..." He let this sentence hang for a moment, too horrified to wrap his mind around the concept. "Please just tell me what happened..."
Yugi doubted that he had seen his yami so mad before. A few hours ago Bakura had arrived at the shop, looking as though he had been mauled by an angry boxer, though that didn't change the look on his face. The glimmer of satifaction in his eyes, the cold smirk playing on the robber's lips. It was a wonder to Yugi that Bakura had managed to escape Atem's wrath; slipping away as soon as he had arrived and delivered his news. Yugi even felt as though if he ever saw Bakura again he'd rip apart the guy, limb from limb. Well, Yugi knew he didn't have the strength to do that, but he'd still like to. So after he calmed Atem down some, once Bakura had left, he told his yami that it was far too early to call Kira's place, where they had been informed Ryou currently was. Atem managed to wait it out until now, and even so he was still worked up something awful.

Kira sighed softly. "yea..its true..I woke up early this morning to ryou pounding on the doors.He' looks like he's been mauled by a lion...bakura came by here so I beat the s**t outta him..I got ryou all clean and bandaged up and gave him very strong pain killers.He just needs to rest." she said "And you speak to me like that agian i'll have no proble beating you as well.I did nothing so dont talk to me as if I did."

Atem was silent for a bit, seething. Bakura had come by, already hurt and would've been so easy to harm even more, but he had let the tomb robber get away. Atem, not wanting to be one who takes it out on himself, growled into the phone, "Ryou and Bakura were at your house before all that happened, right? When is it proper to let Ryou be alone with Bakura?" Atem was starting to speak of Ryou as though he was a posession instead of a human being.

"surpisingly bakura was acting like a normal human being.I did offer them to stay.Ryou also could have staid if he wanted to he has a mind of his own you know.You can come over if you want...just bring coffee.." she said thinking she dident have anymore.

"As though I wouldn't..." Atem muttered, but Yugi had already taken the phone away from him, so Kira wouldn't have been able to hear him. He stormed downstairs, ignoring his hikari as he spoke softly with Kira.
"We'll be over in a little bit... Sorry about Atem's attitude..." Yugi was saying, before he quickly hung up and dashed down the stairs after Atem, having to restrain his yami from leaving, telling him that they should go ahead and make coffee.

Ryou blushed deeply, nodding his head, keeping his eyes on his folded hands in front of him. He didn't need to ask who had been on the phone; Atem's voice had been so loud that he was able to make it out automatically. He also wished to take a bath or shower; the boy felt extremly dirty. Covered in filth, his very soul darkened. Just to scrub away his physical shame, though nothing could be done immediatly for his mental self.

Rei stood up "come on you could use a shower to.." she said pointing out were the bathroom was "I'll bring you clothes."

"Thank you..." Ryou murmured, moving into the bathroom, closing the door quietly behind him. He leaned against it for a moment, his eyes closed, concentrating on his breathing. He suddenly felt a tug on his soul, as though something was trying to rip him away. Stifling a cry, he cringed, this feeling familiar from when he had died, this ripping sensation. He soon saw that it wasn't because he was dying or anything like it at all, but wasn't relieved by this knowledge. Bakura, from wherever he was, had just been trying to return Ryou's soul back to him. Back to the robber's mind, stowed away for later use. Ryou struggled against Bakura, both of them silent, until he won over and remained in his own body, still in Kira's bathroom. Wiping his forehead, where beads of sweat had formed, Ryou stumbled over to the tub and turned on the shower, the water scalding hot.
Atem, walking at a quick pace, arrived at Kira's place a little bit after Ryou turned on the water. Yugi jogged alongside him to keep up, carrying what he had managed to grab before following Atem, just a small can of instant coffee, since he had no time to really make any. Atem rapped his knuckled against the doors, noticing with a slight cringe faint bloodmarks on the door, from where Ryou had been knocking, most likely.

kira had already gone into her room grabing a pair of loose leans and a baggy t shirt that was all black.She went and opened the door seeing atem and yugi "he's in the shower.."

"Okay," Yugi chirped, trying his best to remain his normal happy self. Holding out the can, he shook the coffee inside slightly. "Atem was in a rush... Didn't have any time to make it." He said with an apologetic tone, shooting an annoyed look towards his yami, who was peering over Kira's shoulder.
"Where's Khalid? I thought he was last with you," Atem asked, demanded, not seeing or feeling the familiar presence of Khalid. He ignored the dark look Yugi was giving him, glancing at Kira's face.
