Hm.. In ToS I am about to go get Regal. I never used him in the last game and won't use him in this one either. xd My party usually is Kratos/Zelos, Sheena, Raine, and then Lloyd. I don't care for anyone else. Collette always ticked me off in the game too.
Back to my question... what is the best time to try and figure out IVs?

Umm, I'm not very good at the whole IV thing, but the most accurate you'll ever get is at Level 100. I could never get the formula right, and I always used to get Twisted Angel of Darkness to do them for me. xD But he left the guild a while ago. sad

Really you dont use Regal? I use him a lot. Him or Presea. My final team consists of Kratos, Lloyd, Regal, Raine. I need my triple healing action. Sheena just has to low defense for me and the summens dont do enough damage and they arn't frequent enough.

I use the Serebii calculator since I never really bothered to figure out the formulas either.
True Sheena is a bit unreliable but she is one of my favorite characters so I always use her. Lloyd is my swap character for whoever I feel like using (usually Presea/Regal maybe Genis but never Colette!).
EDIT: Did you know that some of the original Tales of Phantasia staff defected off and now help make the Star Ocean games? That is cool! *Wish I had a PS2*

Your a guy of course Sheena is your favorite charactor! wink Haha! Yeah Regal and Raine are my swapt out charactos. Lloyd and Kratos are pretty perminant figures in my team. Until Kratos leaves and all.... That makes me sad. It also makes me sad that he only has one alternate outfit.

Wow. Pizza 6 nights in a row? That is crazy. I don't think I would like that. I had it like 3 nights in a row once. And Bagel Bites for lunch if that counts but pizza sucks after too much of it.

Your right. She's ok I dont mind her that much. Though I dont really like either Raine or Presea.

YAY! LEVELS!
Now I just need to watch my Eevee. They can't grow any more levels after 29 so that they can learn new special attacks as their evovled forms. 3nodding

Sorry to break it to you Dark, but those evolutions take a long time. And when I say long, I mean it. They'll probably pass level 29 before they evolve. =/

Hah! Mine still evolves in three levels!
I always cheated in emerald with friendship evolvations. If you hatch it from an egg its stats are all ready at the lowest the game alows you to go for them so I just used the berries on them and made them love me really fast so they evovled at like level 7. whee
