☽ Emma listened to Herald as she brought her knees up to her chest and ran a hand through her hair which was full of cowlicks. She then turned her head towards Herald and stuck her tongue out at him in response to his last statement. "Well I'm sorry that book didn't literally turn me into you," she replied. ☾

Never Again...Herald broke into a smile. "Yes, certainly your loss then wasn't it?" He teased as he reached forward and pulled her back into his arms while kissing her on the neck. "I personally think I'm better than some effeminate cat man." Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma made a face as Herald continued teasing her though she looked like she was about to break out into a grin at any moment. "Well I'm not into 'effeminate cat men' anymore. I am much more into gigantic muscular wolf men nowadays... specifically ones named 'Herald' so you are in luck," she replied as she wrapped her arms around Herald while he kissed her neck. ☾

☽ Emma pulled herself closer to Herald as they kissed before hearing his comment. She smiled before pressing her forehead against his "And I hope it stays that way," she told him with a hint of a mischievous grin on her face. ☾

Never Again...Herald nodded as he continued holding her into the bed, his arms around her. "It will. Incidentally, you've fallen right into my trap. I have you now," he told her, referring to the fact that she was pinned into the bed with a big grin on his face. "And there's no way you can escape without making love to me." His voice had taken on a teasing tone. "Well, what is it then? Do you surrender?" Will I be bound in chains

☽ Hearing Herald, Emma began laughing for a few moments. "Oh no! What do I do now? I don't think I will have any other choice," she teased back. She managed to put her hand on her head like she was some damsel in distress "Now I am going to have to make love to this really large guy who is rather good in bed with my stockings still on... Oh the horror!" she replied before muffling another laugh. ☾

Never Again...Herald smiled as he watched Emma's reaction: she seemed to have complimented him in a lot of the right spots. He leaned against her forehead and kissed her gently. "Well, as long as you know the position you're in I'll have a little mercy on you. Maybe. Not much." He intertwined his legs with hers and used his to open her own. ☽ Emma giggled as she heard Herald's comment about showing some mercy on her before kissing him back. She smiled as she heard the last thing he said and moved her hand so it was behind his head. "I love you too," Emma replied back with a warm expression on her face as she looked up at Herald. ☾

☽ Emma gave Herald a look of surprise at his statement, turning slightly red before muffling a small laugh "Wow, this is the most playful I have ever seen you," she replied before Herald began kissing her rather passionately. Emma gladly returned the kiss and wrapped both her arms around Herald's neck, holding herself rather tightly against him.

After a couple hours of fun, Emma ended up laying happily asleep on the bed. She laid on her side with the covers wrapped around her breathing deeply and quietly. ☾

Never Again...Herald lay asleep as well, one arm over his eyes and the other by his side as he breathed deeply and steadily. He seemed to be steadily asleep though early morning sunlight was beginning to stream through the windows. He used to have nightmares occasionally, though ever since he started sleeping with Emma (literally and figuratively) those seemed to dwindle down to almost never. Fortunately tonight was one of those more peaceful ones. Deeper sleep was usually more helpful with that. Will I be bound in chains

☽ As the sunlight began filling the room more and more while they slept, Emma eventually stirred. Her ears perked upright and Emma opened her eyes for a moment, squinting slightly at how bright it was. She buried her face in the soft pillow for a few moments before sighing and slowly sitting up. Emma ran a hand through her hair before her gaze shifted outside as she seemed to be contemplating on whether or not to go back asleep. Eventually, she sighed quietly to herself before moving out of bed rather quietly. Herald seemed to be a rather light sleeper sometimes so she had learned to become rather stealthy in the mornings whenever she would wake up before he did. She went into the closet momentarily before coming out in a tank top and shorts. She quietly went back into bed and grabbed a book, a tired expression still on her face as she sat there and opened up the marked page in her book. Emma yawned before quietly reading to herself. ☾
