Who told you that she died? Did she fake her suicide? Or is someone trying to SERIOUSLY mess with your head?

I was told by her "mother" that she died. Now I'm wondering if that was really her mother. It's very possible she faked it, though I was also told that the police found her body. And as far as I know, only her and I knew her account password, and she had changed it before disappearing near the end of December.

Look at the newspaper in her home town. There would've been an obituary, if her "family" loved her even a tiny bit.

Write back and demand that this person, whoever they are, explain themselves. Option A: It's Roxanne, and she has got some serious issues. She faked her suicide, or had someone lie to you about it, for some odd reason, and is now feeling remorseful. She's got some SERIOUS explaining to do and you don't deserve to have your head messed with like that. Option B: It's someone else who hacked her account and knows you know her? And they want to freak you out. Don't let them. I reiterate: You don't deserve to have your head messed with like that. DEMAND an explanation.

Her family had apparently moved to Maine a week or so before Roxanne went missing, so I've no idea what city/town they were living in. I was again told by the "mother" that I'd recieve a copy of the obituary, but never did.

She moved, didn't tell you where, RIGHT before she went missing? It's too perfect. I've done the same thing to a few people, and let me tell you, when I got caught, it was not pretty...and this sounds EXACTLY like what I used to do.
