Blaze gulped.
"...I feel sorry for you... Your lover's heart would break if she saw how you're acting now..." She said, almost silently voicing her thoughts, a last resistance and securing her pure-hearted-maiden status.
"So, do I have a little bit longer to live before... uh, yeah..." Blaze asked, in her normal audio level.

break.. Timpani's heart..? never- but he wasn't- it was impossible for him to do so now- she was in the Overthere... nothing more, nothing less- he couldn't help but wince, like Blaze had just bashed him over the head like some deranged koopa when she said so, though...
"... ... you don't know her.." was all he could say, this statement followed by a glare- actually, he could have put of a flashing sign saying 'ouch' and it wouldn't have been any-more obvious..

Yes, she was getting somewhere!
Maybe, she would be safe after all. She would single-handedly save the universe from a destruction crazed count, be able to keep her body and free will, and get married and live happily ever after with her husband and five children. And all without hurtin- Ok, maybe she was hurting the Count, but hopefully he would accept his loss, and not let it hang over him his entire life without being able to do anything to ease the horrific pain... Poor guy.
Now Blaze was wincing slightly. So, thus came the age old question, do you hurt one person to save many?

"... no- that much is obvious- isn't it..?" asked the Count, giving Blaze an exasperated look.
"she'd never..." his voice trailed away. "even be able to understand the word evil, since she was the exact opposite.. evil isn't evil if it's used for good.." he reasoned, then turned his head away.
"then again- why am I even saying this? You don't understand- no one ever did, and no-one ever shall.." he finished, sadly.
"The world can't be fixed, it's forever broken, and I'm doing the only thing that might be able to make it better..."
There wasn't a single -bleheh in that sentence, pretty much showing that, right now, he wasn't really the Count, he was just a lovesick Blumiere, doing what he thought was right...

Blaze knew that the Count was a kind person at heart, but she hadn't known he thought himself as a good person. That was sweet... and intensely twisted- but still sweet.
Fortunately (or, perhaps, unfortunately), the sudden burst of, for lack of a better term, dawww, took her mind off the fact that possetion by a ancient demon was probably in her future.

Count Bleck shrugged, looking quite miserable. "yes, fine- laugh at me, the tragic villain- in all honesty, nothing you could do now would make me feel any worse.." he said- this was actually a big thing for him- he hated being laughed at...
"you don't seem to understand- it's all written down, our fates, our feelings, everything- and I-" he said, with a sigh. "am destined to be Count Bleck, heartless villain, and final boss, the one who ends all games..." he sniffed sadly, and got up.
"I'll be outside whilst you're all killing yourselves laughing at my expense.." he said, starting towards the door.

(( Quite a bit to say. The Count, Blaze and Rose are in their apartment, talking 'bout something Wine and relationships. Gale's with the General on some adventure. And Shade's unconsions on the floor somewhere. ))
Gale appeared behind the General and observed the place they had just ended in.
"Hmmp. Dirty, that's all there is to it. So I take it that there must be something of high importance to you General? Or is it simply, your curiosity as a Shy Guy?"

((oh yeah- not that it affects the MAIN STORYLINE, but he just explained his plans for world domination/destrustion, so... XD))

Great.....so that's what the Count wants to do with my little Blaze.....At least Blaze was smart enough to change the subject. Rose poured more wine into her glass-this was going to be a long night...
She got up and walked over to Blaze and put her head by one of Blaze's ears and said quietly just to make sure no one else could hear her but Blaze, "Nice job getting out of that, if he try's to get the Shadow Queen to take over your body....Well..." Rose paused for a moment like it was something hard to say. "I'm not going to let him.....I......I'll protect you..." Rose said. And it wasn't the wine talking-She drinks wine enough to get an intolerance to it.

(( Meh, I love storytelling, which is why I had the Rp contest idea. And Capt. I already sent the donation. But I forgot to tell you that not all of it was for the contest. Half and half, you keep the rest for your Quest, If you'd like. ))
With not much to do with the general, Gale was thinking If perhaps it might've been good to leave Shade alone in the underground that they were before.
