"Don't we have to kill the morphs to free the crew anyway?" Melethia asked.

Ed happily bounded over to Aidan upon being acknowledged. She sat by his bed and wagged her tail, donning that goofy wolf grin as she did. Ed jolted at Abel's approach, but she was quick to recover.
The wolf allowed her gaze to wander as cluelessly as she could manage, listening to what Aidan had to say. She noticed the pieces of a dried leaf falling from his sheet and she pawed at the little fragments. Ed inspected the leaf fragments until Aidan mentioned the crew.
Ed lifted her head, ears high and attentive. She inclined her head when the tactician would not make eye contact. An inquisitive urr rose from her throat during his slight pause, and she fixed her attention on the tactician's words.
...can't even use the correct keys...without killing the morph that guards them.
Kill. The word embedded itself into her mind. Ed bristled slightly and a low growl issued from the wolf, but it was not in hostility toward anyone presence. She resumed grinning at Aidan and the others, wagging her tail.

The tactician shook his head sadly. "I wanted to avoid as much bloodshed as possible, seeing as it's possible to bring at least some of the morphs to our side, but..." His voice trailed off as he continued to stare off to the side.
It shouldn't be this hard.
"I see you don't like it either, Ed." He smiled a little, scratching the wolf behind the ear.

Yeah I believe that is true, cause the morphs wouldn't let us aimlessly walk in, free their prisoners, then let us leave. So do we have a plan?

"I'm sorry about your injuries." said Roy to Melethia before Aiden spoke up.
After listening to Aiden speak, the lord sighed. "That explains why I couldn't get Lilina out..." he muttered. He lacked the keys anyway. And then there would be that obstacle, which he didn't know about.

Alihi nodded in agreement. "As much as I don't like the morphs, which is a lot, I still don't want to fight them." She frowned slightly.
"It's... idiotic. Fighting, that is." She stated, carefully choosing her words.

Ed seemed to enjoy the little scratch that Aidan gave her. She looked at the others rather peacefully, although Roy emanated a feeling of disappointment. The wolf inclined her head inquisitively.

"Well, I don't know about you, Melethia, but I don't want to kill when I don't have to." He frowned, but continued to pet the wolf.
Aidan raised his head. "Alihi...we should figure out what to do. I've never worked with any laguz, but I'm sure--"
Raising an eyebrow, he asked, "Where's Vika, anyways?"

"So... this means... to get back the crew... we have to... kill them..." Abel looked at the others. "Well... if... there's really no other way... we may as well prepare for it..."

Alihi frowned. "I... I'm not sure. I haven't seen her in a while."
She looked to Abel. "... I probably won't be fighting much, though. Stick with what I'm best at, right?" She smiled weakly.
