Rogue looked around hovering in the air -- looking for anything she could use. Then she spied it. Rogue flew about three or four blocks to one of many water towers that was on top of a building. She flies underneath the metallic reservoir and wrenched it free of its moorings.
Rogue flew back with the large, cylindrical container, "Hey, got a special delivery for ya!" The Southerner bombs the water reservoir at War.

War shot a burst of flames from his mouth at the container, enough to propel it high in the air and simaltaneously steam it's contents."Let's see if I can return this gift."He mocked as he drove his blades into the reservoir's side, releasing a mass of steam and used the chain blades to direct the decent of the large metal object. Using his great strength, War whipped the reservoir at Rogue and his chain blades returned to him. A devious smile shined through his flaming body.

"Was it in a bullet proof glass case, colors willow blue an' ivory, about a foot an' a half tall?" Victor questioned.

Skuld glanced at Sabertooth, "That sounds like it. Is it... still intact... or busted up?"
Rogue's combat sense easily kicks in and the Southerner flies out of the way of the airborne debris, "Great, now we got 'chain boy'. Hey Spider-Man, how ya doin over there?"

Skuld opened her eyes and saw debris leaning against the bulletproof glass. Inside was the Ming vase, just as described. Skuld's nerves calmed a moment; however, the building remains shook violently and the vase began to sway. Skuld screamed pointing an the teetering work of ancient art, "AHHHHHH!!!"

Victor kicked into high gear, racing to the Ming vase and carefully pulling off the glass casing. Finally, he retrieved the pottery and slowly brought it back to Skuld.

Skuld held her breath, afraid to move, "Oh GOD! Easy. Easy. That's it." The mage thief breathed a sigh of relief, "Wow."

"Thank you very much," Skuld then looked up and noticed tiny bits of concrete falling from the ceiling, "We should probably get out of here, before this collapses."

Victor nodded and walked out shielding the vase. "what's our next stop?" he asked.

Skuld climbed out, "We should probably get this back to where they'll be safe. It's only a matter of time before we have looters, and we would end up prime targets."

Once Victor was clear of the rubble, Skuld touched Sabertooth's shoulder and began to chant and incantation. Within a few moments, both of them disappeared from the street.

Meanwhile, up in the skies above New York, Arell "The Gator Man" L'amour had rigged a military helicopter and was flying to Times Square on autopilot, eying the ground below from outside, sitting on the windshield and going slow.
"I wonder what's good 'round here for some fun" he said to himself. Most folks in the city who didn't have flight would kill to have this view.
After a while of poking around above, he scoffed a little bit. "Well I'll be doggone. I thought they called this place the City that Never Sleeps. HA!" He said, climbing back into the chopper to fly off to find some other adventure.
