Vexis just laughed in a bit of a mean manner, then walked off down the hall, further into the armory. "You'll figure it out! Eventually..." she said, shrugging, then left into the next room over. Though she did not go far, she waited just behind the door, listening for his soon-to-come shouting she guessed.

Aerclayr stared after Vexis, utterly confused. He hadn't expected her to actually do that - well, no, he did, but it just didn't seem quite right. Aerclayr had to force himself not to laugh (like his author did), and concentrate on his predicament.
Trying to change the girl's mind would only serve to provoke her behavior. Aerclayr was somewhat miffed that he had to deal with this person as if she were a child. Hm... maybe, by her race's standards, she still was a child....
Anyway. Back to the situation at hand. Aerclayr stopped moving, just examining the state at which he was in. How the heck was it possible? A strange security feature, maybe?
"This won't get us anywhere, Vexis," Aerclayr said with a raised voice, after a minute or two. He was starting to feel strange at this angle, maybe his blood wasn't flowing as it should be....

(( xd "like his author did", huh? lol ))
Vexis stepped back into the doorway, looking quite amused and satisfied. "Yeah yeah, don't get all uptight over just a joke, god! Its an easy fix anyway..." Vexis walked over to Aerclayr, she tried kicking him out of the way, didn't even budge. "Okay, fine...I see I have to do this the hard way...prepare to briefly become mist..." Vexis grabbed onto the collar of his shirt (or whatever he wears for a top) and turned herself into mist -Aerclayr gradually started turning to mist as well.

Aerclayr refused to close his eyes. The act of becoming... mist... was startling to him, but it seemed to work. He gradually became intangible, but tried to do nothing, waiting for Vexis to pull him out of the limbo... or whatever she was planning to do.
It thrashed violently. It screamed in agony. It raged throughout the ship, destroying furniture and closed doors by the very passage of itself. Any computer or robot would read it as a freak event of nature - a pressurized mass of gaseous material, somehow retaining its bulk and not dissipating throughout the ship.
Two crew members, unaware of their danger, walked out into the hallway. The second one was lucky enough to just be pushed back into his room, thrown against the glass opposite the doorway that held a magnificent space view.
The other one, who had left the room first, was not so lucky. His scream echoed throughout some of the halls, and anybody running to find the source of the scream, would find a lone man flattened like a pancake against the ground. Dead.

((Whatever that purple-text thing is...must be pretty damn powerful...O.o))
Vexis pulled Aerclayr forward, then kicked him into the armory, releasing her grip on him just in time to let him fall forward. Vexis re-solidified, a devious grin on her face. "Boo yah! I just helped AND caused you pain at the same time!"
((Shes so nice.... xd ))

Aerclayr was in no mood to be teased or to respond to such. He laid in the middle of the floor, curled up, hands clutching his rapidly-beating heart. His breath was rapid, his pupils dilated even though there was plenty of light, and he panted heavily. His sharp intakes of breath were punctuated with pain and fear. This had never happened to him before, and the cause he could not discern.
It settled... somewhat. Something had just anchored it, somehow, somewhere. It had no choice but to settle down, even if briefly, and to return to its host. The blue girl did not restart her extreme struggles and such, but did whimper slightly upon it's return. Sweat dripped off of her brow, and her peaceful face sank into a frown, as she endured nightmares once again.
((heh heh...))

((Possession! Maggie is possessed! scream ))
Vexis' pleased expression soon changed to that of confusion and very slightly...concern. "What's wrong? Did I throw you too far?" She asked, a bit mockingly at first. 'Wait...something similar happened to that other person...not quite the same reaction, but close...and they-' Vexis eyed him closely for a moment, trying to see just how similar the reaction was. "Hmm...try phasing your hand through that wall..." Vexis pointed to the nearest wall to Aerclayr, still pondering the situation. 'Crap...if it DID happen....this could be a bit of a pain in the a**...'

Aerclayr struggled to reach a hand out to touch the wall. How the... hell... am I supposed... to even... know how... to faze through... a freaking wall!? he thought to himself, as he reached. Then a spasm of pain wracked his entire body, causing him to shriek in pain.
Then, once the spasm was over, there was no pain. After a few moments of being a ball in the floor, Aerclayr slowly, gingerly extended his arms and legs, as if expecting the pain to come back immediately.
Evidently, nothing happened, and so Aerclayr stood back up. The whole ordeal had taken... minutes, maybe? The male mercenary certainly had not been counting.
"What... what was that?" Aerclayr asked, to both Vexis and himself, as he leaned against the wall and tried to catch his breath. "That's never happened to me, before...."

"Well, it could have been a side effect to me turning you intangible...there have been cases where humans gain the power to become intangible on their own just because the Synith exposed them to it...its like the person got infected with a disease..." Vexis explained, as if nothing had happened whatsoever -almost nothing seemed to phase this girl...well, except herself. "I uhh...accidentally 'infected' someone with that before...so it wouldn't exactly be the first time...eh heh..." Vexis looked around the room, searching for a quick change of subject. "But hey! Look, you got into the armory!" And there it was, her pathetic attempt to distract Aerclayr from blaming her for anything.

zfatal Matt held his weapon between him and Kryxel, trying desperately to keep it pointed at the neko. "That's all fine and swell, but you're acting as a teacher, not the bad guy. If I were up against a bad guy -" Matt jumped a foot backwards for emphasis, "I would just run." ~ Aerclayr strained to hear what Vexis way saying. He almost called out to her, to ask if she was all right, but she would probably not respond well to that, he reflected. Instead, Aerclayr decided to taunt her to renew her vigor for the task. "Vexis? You can come out if its too difficult for you. I won't blame you." "but in running you do not learn anything...now..attack". kryxel said

Aerclayr frowned, but he did indeed walk over to a nearby rack of weapons. "Yes," he murmured, "very nice...."
Over his shoulder, he continued the previous conversation. "I'm not human - you couldn't have infected me. It was something else - something that started with the floating. You've never heard of anything like that? Hey, this is Cekalopia Prime weaponry - imagine that, she had expensive antiques from that time period." He added, picking up an extremely fragile, useless weapon that had, in its time, been a deadly automatic molecular disruptor. Unfortunately, no Cekalopia Prime IV weapons that had survived the deadly civil war that had been the end of that world were still usable. They all exploded upon the trigger being pulled, these days.
Edit:
Matt blinked slowly, looking up in alarm at the ship-wide message from Nina. "Well, that counts me out," he said bitterly, referring to the statement about 'warriors' or 'combatants' or, whatever she had said.
"Fine... I'm bored, anyway," Matt said with a sigh, then lugged the heavy weapon into the air, swinging blindly.

Vexis remained silent, something had her a bit unsettled -and it wasn't the freakish half-human dude for once. Vexis stared up at the upper corners of the walls, paying close attention to even the slightest details. She looked anxiously around the room, almost panicked. Vexis backed up to the nearest corner, practically flinching at every single little change in movement of the ship. "Uhm....i-is it me, or does this ship almost feel...a-alive...?" Vexis asked, her annoying girly voice quivered a bit out of fear.

Layla finally finished fixing her arm, she had a satisfied looking grin on her face. Layla looked over at Erin, her eyes showed deep concentration. "Those intruders are in my ship...I can feel it..." Layla explained, placing her hand over where the microchip sat beneath the skin on her head. "But they wont last long...I may not be able to drive it or fully control it from here, but I sure as hell can at least direct it towards here..."

Aerclayr looked around, as if seeing the ship for the first time, or in a new light. "You think so? I wonder why...."
Aerclayr turned and began rummaging through the stores of weapons, selecting ones that he liked or felt would be particularly useful. To his disappointment, he found no more explosive throwing stars. They were a favorite of his, actually, and he only had two more.
Aerclayr wandered around for a bit, then decided he had pillaged enough. Walking back to Vexis - whom he had not noticed was in the corner until now - he said, "I've had my share. Get any weapons you like - looks like there's movement from our prey ship."
Aerclayr had hardly said that, when the Dark Eagle sped past (strangely enough, since they were in the opposite direction from the Atlantis that the Sentinel system had been), not flying but shooting towards the planet (or whatever it was) at extremely high, unmatchable speeds.
The mercenary sensed his quarry, on that ship. Running back to the navigation console, Aerclayr quickly hauled his stolen ship into action. It moved rather slowly, though anything would seem slow after seeing that monstrosity of a small ship speed past like that.
"We're done waiting," Aerclayr shouted with glee over his shoulder, all worries about the ship or his pain spell forgotten at the moment.

After facing many rounds of pesky Mynas, Rosa finally stopped behind one of the other, smaller buildings, figuring out a way to make herself less...visible. "Adapting, physical appearance change..." Rosa looked down at one of the inactive Myna units, examining it's coloring exactly. Rosa's armor shifted and changed to the blueish-purple color to match that of the Myna near her, her hair color faded to the grayish shade of them as well. After her 'makeover', Rosa continued down the street/pathway to her targeted place, her appearance seemed to have the other robots fooled.
~
As glad as Vexis was to finally be on her way out of this place, she was still a bit unnerved by Judgment Primera. Vexis silently sat down in the corner of the bridge of the ship. 'Thank god we're leaving...'

Aerclayr guided the ship in after the Dark Eagle, landing somewhat away and cleverly using the ship's own security codes to gain clearance. Before he left the ship, Aerclayr left two different 'surprises' in the ship, in the case he would not be returning, whether to that ship or at all.
"My target is down here," Aerclayr admitted, "but I unfortunately have no idea about yours. After we figure it out, you can take the ship back up to the Atlantis and search there, if we are fruitless down here. But I will stay until my prey is dead."
