She chokes at the memories, her hands tighten around his shoulder, then loosen and she stares blankly at Cloud in horror.
"Oh my god..."
She stares around in a panic.
"Spike!!! Spike! He needs help!!!"

*He looks at Cloud on the ground*
Mmm... Not this time...

She stares at him dumbfounded, and whispers.
"What?"

*He turns around and walks to the edge of the island, sitting down and looking over the edge*

*his eyes suddenly burst into blood red flames as he senses that Brooke is wounded, he pushes Keo away from him*...Keo...Help....Brooke...

She pulls his head back into her lap.
"Don't move, Cloud! She's fine, just scared! Hang on, alright? For her sake, and mine, please!"

*he pushes her away again* NOW KEO!!! *he roars, coughing up more blood*

She scrambles back away from him, bewildered.
"She's not hurt! She's scared! You're the one who's hurt!!! Now stop scaring us!!"

....Keep her safe....look after her....*his hand glows and his fist opens, revealing his pendant, fully restored, he feels Brookes hand toutch his cheek and he trys to smile but fails*...B...Brooke....Take....*he is cut off as he lets out a quiet scream of pain, coughing up more blood, he starts to lift his hand to give her the pendant but his arm stops and falls to the ground, his hand relaxing, his fist opening, his body goes limp. Spike can feel his power fade from the plane of the living and Brooke can feel his aura disappear. But the black gem in his pendant still emits its usuall faint black light*

Scared and uncertain, she walks over to Brooke and puts her arms around the little girl, hugging her and praying for Cloud's safety.

Brooke's face went completely white, drained of all blood as her wide eyes stared at the corpse of her father. She did not move or make any sounds other then to reach out and pick the pendant from Cloud's hand, clutching onto it for dear life. "Come back..."

Brooke's face went completely white, drained of all blood as her wide eyes stared at the corpse of her father. She did not move or make any sounds other then to reach out and pick the pendant from Cloud's hand, clutching onto it for dear life. "Come back..."

*his body lays limp on the ground, his head falls to the side, his cheek now against the ground, blood running from his mouth and eyes, the ground around his body red from his blood, his skin starts to turn pale*

*the power continues to grow rapidly, the flames that engulf his dead body grow aswell, the island begins to shake, there was nothing left to keep his power at bay....it was all being let loose*

She scoops Brooke into her arms completely, and charges at Spike, grabbing him from behind as she pulls them all off the edge of the island. Her wings open, wider and bigger than before, carrying the three people away from Cloud, to cover.
