Very. XD And there's lots of little gimmicks, like reincarnation for max level characters (which isn't hard to reach), outfit changes, and so on and so forth.
I spent quite a lot of yesterday playing. XD

It is. It REALLY is. rofl Nice degree of challenge, a fair amount of stuff to do, lots and lots of characters (too many to effectively use, even...), and yeah. >D Which is good, because I -wanted- to pass the time!

Though, the problem with many games like that is that the party members tend to be fairly generic... even in Fire Emblem, most characters don't have too much in the way of plot. XD;

I never got too far into Suikoden V. It took so damn long to get going I'd lost most of my interest by the time it did. XD

Some games... are like that, yes. XD Especially plot-heavy ones like, say, The Legend of Heroes.

I played it for like... A whole day, and it was pretty much nothing but narrative and plot, I did maybe one duel and got into an RBE about... 5 times.
Mind you this was over about 6 hours including walking around and exploring, but still. You had NO Freedom in that time, and that may have been the biggest problem.
