She was frankly too shocked from the kiss to do anything but blink. As she dropped her once more, she bent her knees to cushion the fall, straightening up slowly. She was a rush of emotions; part of her wanted to punch him for that, while the other half wanted to run over to him and kiss him full on the lips again. Sighing, she massaged her temples. Turning to walk out of the alleyway, she muttered "Sorry..." and began walking quickly towards the heart of the city, not looking back. She suddenly felt cold, and so she rubbed her bare shoulders gently, looking up at the half-hidden moon.

He could hear the sound of glass breaking but paid it no heed until someone was on his back. HIs first instinct was to kill this person but as soon as he caught her scent he recognized her. "Hello Echo."

Echo laughs, "Hello, Jax. How's things?" she asked, wrapping her arms around his neck to hold herself up. "Nice door you made back there, by the way. Although, there was an actual door there."

He thought about the fact that there was a door then brushed some of the broken glass off of him. He took a can of something and took a bite out of the can. He ate it metal and all. "I'm a lot better now that I'm getting food."

Echo watched him eat the can and grimaced. "Oh ew. That's just.. ew." She said, looking elsewhere. "That can't be good for you, the can part." She loosened her grip on him, and slid off his back, landing on her feet. "But you do seem a little better."

He grabbed another can and ate it also. "Well it at least half way fills me up." Whiping his mouth on a clean piece of cloth. He turned to Echo. "How are you today?"

Echo was surprised by this question. "Fine." She lied. She wasn't fine, and she never was, but everyone knew that, didn't they? Apparently not. "Anyways, why are you eating cans..? Why not.. something else?"

"I'm not just eating the cans I'm also eating the food inside." He smiled and shook sending broken glass everywhere, all of the glass bounced harmlessly off what it hit. "So what do you want to do."

"Hell if I know, I'm just bored." She answered. Picking up a glass shard, she put it to her vein, and licked off the dripping blood. After the blood started to clot, she looked up at Jax. "Err.. we could.. walk around?" She suggested, looking back down at her now-healed arm.

Echo stood stock still for a minute, before her brain caught up with her. "Right." She said, turning and following Jax. "Where we going?" She asked, wondering where they could go.

"Oh, right." Echo said quietly, still following Jax. He yawned and she smirked, "Am I boring you, Jax?" She sped up, and came into step beside him.

"Suuuuuure," Echo said, "Whatever you sa-.." Echo stopped walking abruptly as an intense pain swept through her body. It felt like a great fire had been lit inside of her. She couldn't explain it, she had no idea where it had come from, or why it hurt like this; she wasn't infected, and she couldn't be. Grabbing her stomach, she tried to bear it and keep walking. The pain intensified immensely, until it was unbearable. A hair-raising scream is heard, and Echo crumples to the ground.
