LunaInverse So, as I'm driving home from grocery shopping and laundry, I get on the highway...and I see a plume of smoke in the air. Brush fire on the side of the highway... eek The worst part is, it was probably started by some idiot tossing their cigarette out the car window. The news has been saying for the past week that the fire danger in our area is high due to low moisture and lots of nice sunny days. Some people are ******** idiots. Smokey the Bear needs to go in and go all medieval on them... emo Disappointment.. I thought you were just going to say he needs to maul them.

I'm glad I don't live in an area where brush fire is a problem. There was one time that it was actually really close to the city I'm in, but...nothing has ever happened here as far as I know.

Smokey the Bear needs to go in and go all medieval on them... Nothing like the wild-fires we get in Southern California rofl This is true. Personally, I'm surprised there's any forest areas left in California. It seems like half the state catches on fire every summer. More like every fall. That's when we get the Santa Ana winds in; hot and dry gonk Actually, my hometown has a reputation of catching on fire annually. rofl
With the last CALIFORNIA FIRESTORM (07) the fire went like, all around this area. It was the worst though near San Diego. So the majority was South of here, but there was some smaller activity going on (The Magic Fire) about 20 miles or so north. I looooooove watching the coverage on TV as it's going on surprised

Kinetic Dream ...E-Excuse me... Where am I? That's exactly what the character in my student's textbook asked. He was waking up from what seemed to be a long sleep, and he found himself in a bed with two people standing next him. They were dressed in white coats and were smiling. The character asked, "Where am I?" They replied, "You're in heaven!"

iBarty I'm glad I don't live in an area where brush fire is a problem. There was one time that it was actually really close to the city I'm in, but...nothing has ever happened here as far as I know. We get them a lot in the spring. There has already been several. It's because it just doesn't rain here in the spring. Then in the summer, it rains everyday. xp
