"... Alrighty then..." he gave her a confused smile, not believing for a second that it was nothing. "If you say so~" He had no clue what she was getting at, and decided not to worry about it, beaming at Sil. "Hey there, gorgeous, were you looking for me?"

Kyle was about to raise to Star's challenge by calling her by an equally cute nickname when Sil started faking Kiah out, laughing loudly and completely forgetting the white-haired girl's threat. He then came to a realization and held his amusement in, looking at the now empty entryway. "You probably shouldn't have done that..."

When Sil had started toward her, Kiah had instantly started running in the opposite direction, knowing exactly how to play that game. She'd missed it when the older woman had said she was fine, as she was already running out the door and into the hallway, refusing to look back and breathing heavily because of her wound. That was always her strategy for games of tag.~

"Is it the hair or the eyes?" Star asked teasingly, an actual grin of amusement coming to her lips and a glint of the rarely seen emotion entering her gold-colored eyes when she caught the other girls stare, "I'm fairly sure we haven't. I'm Star. Nice to meet you Sil."

"Ah, I see," Mizaka nodded. "Your father must have been a very caring man." She crossed her arms and leaned back in her chair. "I've met Kanda once. He was pretty nice to me, so I guess he's someone I would like." She looked back at the younger girl and frowned.

"I guess you could say that. I've run away from Japan and headed straight to England. Had to cross a lot of different countries on my way. I hardly had any money with me, so I've spent most nights sleeping outside and scavenging for food. A few people let me stay at their inns for free because they felt pity for me." She sighed as she remembered those cold nights when her empty stomach painfully rumbled.

*BREATHES.* Yay for responding to everyone in one go. I'm sorry orz LOL. ))

"You better run!" Sil called after Kiah, trying not to laugh as the girl shot off like a shot from the barrel of a gun. Honestly she hoped she was running her way straight back to the infirmary. If she weren't they might have some words a little bit later; Kiah needed to heal fully and Sil meant to see to that.

Sil flushed a little as the young woman called her out on her staring, feeling rather embarrassed for even noticing she looked oddly. "I'm sorry," she said sincerely, trying to hide behind her coffee cup with a little lift of the porcelain. "Your hair caught me a little off guard. I've only met one other Exorcist with hair quite like that... it's beautiful," she smiled a little bit, sincere in her words but still nervous. "It's really nice to meet you. I'm afraid I was blessed with incredibly bland coloring myself." There was no lie in her words; dark brown curls and equally dark obsidian eyes coupled with golden skin, she wondered how anyone could even pick her out from the woodwork.

Kyle's comment made her blink at him for a moment, wondering if he had been talking to her. In fact, she was a little wrong footed by the comment, though she realized very quickly these were the types of comments he likely made towards anything with two legs and breasts. Throw a wig on an orangutan and Kyle might go for it. "Oh yeah, how'd you know? I was looking for a big, strong man to make a woman out of me," she said sarcastically, a grin spreading along her lips to give him a glimpse of white teeth. "Seen any around?"

Sil's eyes sparkled mischievously at Michi's rather offhanded comment. "Oooh, the mysterious types of stories are the ones I like to hear the most," Sil winked at Michi, wondering if the young woman had done something scandalous in order to gain this new outgoing perspective she was noticing in her. So far, she was pleased to see it; though there was nothing wrong with Michi's timid and slightly uptight normality, easing out of her comfort zone would probably be good for her. "Is it romance novel worthy? At least give me a hint~"

Kyle perked up a bit at Michiyo's question, not noticing in the least that she seemed to be asking about something she should already know, as she seemed to have lived there for awhile. "I could use something fun to do... Since I doubt I can play hide and seek with Kiah until I know this place better." He'd wanted to talk to her in private, but he knew that there was no way she'd gone back to the infirmary after that little stunt.

Kyle grinned at Sil's comment, trying hard to keep a pout on his face in response to her teasing. He was never one to get offended, no matter how much someone insulted him. "I suppose when they say love is blind, they aren't kidding, cause I'm right in front of you~," he lamely replied, still with that wide grin on his face. He knew she was being sarcastic, but he still couldn't help wiggling his eyebrows at her.

Mizaka nodded sadly as she listened to Chaoe.

"So you had it rough, too, huh? That's something we have in common..." She smiled, but it wasn't a happy smile. "I barely remember my parents. They died when I was very young..." She shuddered a bit as she recalled that terrible night. "My grandfather raised me afterwards."

She blinked, suddenly feeling bad for bringing such things up.
She wanted to hug Mizaka, but she was scared. Not used to showing such affection to anyone other then Yuu, she doesn't even hug him.

Sniffing the air she caught wiff of something burning then paniced. Standing up, "The cakes!" She dashed to the oven and opened it, smoke coming out.

Star flushed a bit at the comment, the faint color an odd contrast to the pale skin and oddly colored eyes but she quickly recovered and forced her usual smirk to her lips, "There's no reason to appologize, really. It throws most people through a loop... I find the reactions quite entertaining a lot of the time. I would hardly call it beautiful though. I rather like your color myself."
She snickered at her remark toward the newest thorn in her side, not bothering to even try to hide her amusement, "I guess it must be deaf as well," She remarked after hearing the boy's comeback, "That or you don't now rejection when you hear it."
