"You know I'm about as intelligent as a plank of wood, but I'll help as much as I can." He smiled.

"Sure thing.." He smiled, standing and lifting her up as he did. Jumping down the fire escape, he kept her in his arms as he walked.

Zin Okami Will swore to himself as he ran. They didn't have time for this, they needed to find Kerrigan! But how could he leave one Hunter behind while looking for another?! At least it seemed that Bridget had his back, although she was probably pissed off at him yet again for this snafu. Racing after the young psychic, Will shouted out at her, hoping not to draw too much attention. "LYDIA! STOP!!!" Not sure if his voice would be enough to halt her flight long enough to talk with them, he concentrated his thoughts and "projected" them to her, knowing that she'd pick them up if he made them "loud" enough. ~LYDIA! Stop now! I can't leave you alone out here without a good reason to do so! Stop and tell me what's going on!~ She faltered when she heard his projection and almost fell, lengthening her stride to try and run faster. She cursed, hearing the other psychic also hearing William's call.
It is not what you think She told William, trying to loose both him and Bridget. They only want me, and they will just kill you. I can handle myself against them, but neither of you stand a chance!

She only had a few moments peace before Kusari appeared at her side. Sighing, she skidded to a halt, turning to him. Grabbing him and shoving him against a wall forcefully, she looked him straight in the eye. All the fighting had definately put her out of the playful mood she had previously been in. "Look...im serious now. What the hell do you want from me? Huh?!" It wasnt that she didnt enjoy his company. In fact, for some reason she couldnt explain, she rather enjoyed their little "dance" one could call it.
But right now was not the time for such games. She appreciated what he had done for her, but at the same time, it was beginning to get just plain wierd the way they kept running into each other. Though she held him against the wall, it was in such a way that he could easily escape if he wanted to. She was slightly tired from the rush of the fight and the chaotic appearance of people she knew, but didnt know.

He always did like it rough, but it was very rarely that he actually let anyone dominate him like that. His blades retracted back into his armlets and his gripped her collar with strong hands. He lifted her of the ground to his eyes level. He planted a slow kiss on her lips and then looked coldly into her eyes. "I understand your trouble. But if you ever try to handle me like that again, I will make you regret it." His voice was no longer playful, no longer a sweet mixture of culture and an appealing amusement. It was like ice stabbing repeatedly into ones heart. And those eyes no longer held life, but emptyness. Few had seen this side of him, but she brought it out. Even fewer knew why he even had this side.
He dropped her and simply walked deep into an allyway. If one looked close enough they could see slight frost trailing at his feet. This is what it looked like when a demon went cold. When he reached the end of the allyway he leaned against the wall effectively hidden by the shadows. He was still weak from giving her blood, but weakness was not a factor when he was like this. He was simply stopping to think.

Jax opened the car door and hopped out. Finally having a comfortable sleep. He walked around the city looking for a supermarket with food that hasent gone bad or been poisoned. He found a lot of canned foods everwhere after he threw himself through the window.

Walking through the devastated streets, Echo heard glass break, and turned down in the direction it came from. A few pieces of shattered glass hit the ground, and she saw someone go through the glass into what looked like an abandoned supermarket. "I wonder.." She whispered. She walked to the broken window and peered in. Whoever had gone in, wasn't in sight anymore. Letting curiosity get the best of her, Echo stepped over the edge of the jagged glass, holding her chains up so they would hit the glass, and walked in. Searching aisle after aisle, Echo found Jax scrounging around the shelves. She walked up behind him as silently as she could, and jumped on him.
