Keno stirred, finally showing a sign of life as his head turned to the left slowly. "Did someone just go inside? It was probably just another sensei. Where are all the genin?" He sighed as he returned to his idle position, waiting for a familiar face or a member of equal rank.

Considering the condition of the day, Shinmatsu decided that he would do that which he enjoyed most, appreciate nature. Before he went outside however Shinmatsu wanted tea; he got up from the couch and went into the kitchen to prepare some tea in his favorite mug.

Shortly afterward, Shinmatsu came out of the dojo with a mug of hot green tea in his hand and took a seat on the steps of the dojo to continue relaxing.

Keno sat up and stared off into the horizon. "So what to do now? I should just keep training."

Shinmatsu sat up straight thinking to himself "Did I hear something.....must've been the wind." and then returning to his more relaxed seating position.

"No that was me, though I take the compliment appreciatively," Keno says, referring to the wind comment. He slid down the roof and hopped off, landing in front of the porch. "You new here? Or just a passerby?"

Shinmatsu turns towards the direction that the voice came from and sees someone, he then seets down his cup, stands up, and faces this new person with an outstreched hand.
"Name's Shinmatsu, I'm new here and will be studying Yami."

Keno takes the hand and shakes it. "It's been a while since anyone has offered a handshake. I'm KenoTao, a Rai Gakusei. My sensei's not been around though so I've been training solo. An arrogant look was flashing in his eyes, same as always.

After releasing Keno's hand, Shin resumed his seat on the front steps of the dojo while saying calmly--
"Odd, people not shaking hands and all, nice to meet you."
and once seated, Shinmatsu picks up his tea again and resumes slowly drinking it.

"Likewise," Keno replies as he gazes off into the yard before the dojo. "You mentioned being new, so I'm guessing you haven't chosen a weapon yet. What about jutsu? What have you learned so far?"

"I haven't actually started any training yet but the katana is my weapon of choice. I would also like to learn to fight with a staff and various ranged weapons."

"You sound like a rather well rounded warrior. Close and distance combat skills. Always a plus. But nothing is ever quite a impressive to me as natural prowess. I enjoy seeing punches thrown myself. Flying metal and element manipulation seems to be mostly flashy unless it actually connects." Keno smirked as he though about his last fight. He wasn't actually able to get close to his opponent, which reflected his challenger's strategic prowess, but it was disappointing as well.

"I try to do my best to round myself out, and as far as the physical contact goes, I assumed that was a given."
Shinmatsu smirks.
"Sounds as though you are quite experienced from the advice you give."

"Well it's like I've told everyone else. I'm a warrior of a different nature. I'm training as a ninja to broaden my capabilities in battle." Keno only sighed at this thought though. "That doesn't mean much though. In order to train adequately, I've to restrained myself. But I do have insight I suppose."

"It's good to know that there are those out there that appreciate the art of combat. If you don't mind me asking, why must you restrain yourself to train?...Just wondering."
