((@Chaoe: Yeah, they really haven't. I think this will be good opportunity to have them get to know each other~
Kiah: Sorrrrryyyy, but Chaoe asked me first ;_; We'll have Kyle and Mizaka meet tomorrow. Right now, I don't think Mizaka is in the mood to introduce herself to new people xP))

She rose an eyebrow in the direction of the white-haired girl at her vague answer, "That... makes no sense."
"Ugly, huh?" she said, turned her attention back towards the conversation, letting out a snort, "Well, then I'm glad I haven't met him. And don't get me wrong, I don't mind the fighting, it's a great rush, and most of the time those Akuma's barely stand a chance. But I would have liked to be able to pick my own fights, choose my own cause to lay down my life for."
She watched, incredulous though amused, as next to her Kyle started to lay his charms on the new girl, grinning. This should be fun to watch. "So," she remarked to him, giving him a thoughtful look though the amused smile stayed in place, "Is there any kind of strategy to this, or do you just wing it?"

(*twirls* )
Chaoe ran down the hallway, dragging her weapon behind her. She had finished training and was on her way back to her room to change and probably go take a bath later. Her papa always told her that a clean body made for a clean countenance and clean soul.

((@Kiah: Yep, no rush at all. Mizaka just needs her energy before she can beginning opening cans of whoopass on Kyle~))
"I hope to never see another Vengeful Spirit for as long as I live..." Mizaka grumbled to herself, though she knew fully well that such a wish will never come true. After spending days scouring for and capturing Spirits, Mizaka and Franzie had finally returned to the Black Order. It was one of the longest missions they had ever been assigned to, as well as one of the most energy-consuming. Franzie had already collapsed in her bed, her tired body screaming at her for the lack sleep she had received. Mizaka, on the other hand, was more hungry than tired, and decided to get a little something for herself in the kitchen. Dragging her tired feet across the hallway, however, she soon learned that in her current state of mind, she has forgotten the location of the kitchen.
"Where the hell is that-oof!"
Mizaka nearly stumbled to the floor when a small figure had crashed into her. "Whoa! Sorry, kid. Wasn't watching where I was going..."

"I don't expect it to," Star smirked, before turning her gaze to the boy, letting a desceptively charming smile come to her lips, "And I'd be careful who I called 'lovely' if I were you. You never know when a rose will decide to show its thorns, after all."

Chaoe had fallen onto her backside when they ran into eachother. She looked up at Mizaka with her big black eyes, they narrowed a bit. "No, i'm sorry." She stood up and brushed herself off, "I wasn't paying attention.." Chaoe pulled a Kanda-frown and bowed but then quickly looked up and around. "My weapon! Ohh.." She picked it up and held the spiked club carefully.

Mizaka raised an eyebrow when she saw the club, but the shock faded away in a matter of seconds. Considering the things she has seen in her short life, a child holding a clubbed weapon didn't surprise her as much as most people would have.
"Are you alright, though? You didn't hurt yourself when you fell, did you? Wait..." Mizaka suddenly realized that Chaoe looked familiar. "Oh, I know you! We met during the Valentine's Day party, remember?"

"Oh, right..." He nodded, an amused smile on his face at her challenging glare, having no intention of disagreeing with her whatsoever. After visiting the sleeping Kiah in the infirmary, he'd looked for Sil next, her absence in the infirmary comforting but still needing the peace of mind of seeing her safe and sound himself. As she had told the story of what had happened he had been able to tell she felt guilty about it all and even though he'd been slightly annoyed at her visiting apparently seedy places at night, he'd told her not to beat herself up over it. There was no way she could have known what was going to happen.
"Beat him up? What kind of friends are you?" He laughed, but made a face as if contemplating the deal. "Interesting, interesting..."
He watched Michi and listened to her talk with interest, the way she carried herself more confident than he remembered seeing her act before. She'd always been a friendly girl, but somewhat shy and unsure, and now she was boasting about her fighting abilities and he was intrigued by this change, wondering if maybe something had happened to boost her self-esteem. He hadn't seen her for a while, after all.

"Ah." She blinked, "Yeah, I remember you." A small smile made it's way onto her face, "I'm okay, but i'm just happy my weapon's alright." Her eyes softened.

"My dear Michiyo, I have not a clue what you're talking about," he answered, giving her a knowing grin while putting a finger to his lips. He knew that he came off as a bit intimidating to the shy ladies, hence the charm to get them to relax when he came near.
He started tuning into the conversation that seemed to be going on all around him, putting in his own two cents. "So, exactly HOW ugly are we talking here? If he's that bad, then I don't understand why it's taking everyone so long to beat this guy," Kyle shrugged, looking at Kiah in confusion when she started banging her head on the table.
"You... I can't think of words to describe your level of stupidity sometimes..." Kiah shook her head before looking at Kyle with exasperation. "Looks and power have nothing to do with each other, you egotistical moron! Just because you have Innocence now, doesn't mean that you have ANY idea how to use it, nor do you have a chance of defeating him. At least not at this point." Her voice rose in volume as she went on, starting to sound a bit angry. She started to calm down at his startled look and turned away, scribbling furiously on her paperwork.
Kyle kept the worried look off his face and turned to the white-haired girl, smirking as if nothing had happened. "Oh don't worry. I've always liked it a little rough, if you know what I mean," he winked suggestively, not put off in the least by her words.
Kiah looked back up at Lavi, nodding at his agreement with satisfaction. As much as she'd tried to convince the girl, she'd kept thinking up reasons as to why the injured girl's wound was her fault. She grimaced a bit at his question, refusing to look at her 'best friend' again. "We're the kind that are... pretty much like siblings, I guess. We've beaten on each other for about sixteen years, so why stop now? Although, he's a bit perverted for a brother..." she mumbled the last part, scowling at the thought of their reunion.

"Oh, is that your Anti-Akuma Weapon? You're an Exorcist?" Again, such things no longer surprised Mizaka. A normal person would have been shocked to see such a young child training for battle, but Mizaka wasn't what one would call "normal." No one here was, actually. In this world, strangeness and oddities were complete normalities.
"I think your name was...Chaoe, correct? I'm Mizaka, in case you've forgotten." Mizaka smiled at the girl. "Hey, you wouldn't mind directing me to the kitchen, would you? I kinda lost my way..."

With rising amusement, she watched him carry on undeterred with the white-haired girl. Just what was needed around here, someone easy-going and uncomplicated. She let out a laugh, clapping her hands together, "Ah, I have a feeling you and I are going to get along just fine~"
She couldn't resist chuckling as Kiah let loose. It was obvious the two went way back, with the easy way she was yelling at him. Scouring her memories, she couldn't recall the girl ever being so obviously annoyed and easily aggravated as this. This was confirmed when she heard Kiah murmur an answer to Lavi. Sixteen years was a pretty long time... and a bloke and girl being just friends for so long? Impossible. She let out a soft snort. "Tension~" she sing-songed softly under her breath.

Chaoe nodded, "Yes, this is Cerberus." She held it up slightly. "You're right, it's nice to meet you again Mizaka." She blinked, suprised at the request. "Uh, yeah. Umm..." She looked down, flustered. "Miss..Mizaka? W-would you mind if I.." Her cheeks flushed, "Would you mind if I sat and ate with you then? It's been..awhile since I have eaten with someone other then myself."

"I'm with Kiah... and Lavi." Star said slowly before forcing her smile back to her lips, "And I doubt I'm someone you could handle." Though she kept her smile in place the smallest trace of menace and anger was preasent in her tone. She was half-hoping he'd get the hint but at the same time... well, showing her thorns sounded like a pretty tantalizing idea at the mooment... even if she may regret it later.
