Yeah, you were always really good! Though I got through all my RPGs on my own. cool But you're better at the fighting and Zelda-type games! I'm sure you'll get the hang of Devil May Cry. And that is a sweet deal.

I still have yet to beat any of the Final Fantasy games I own.. emo The closest thing I've beaten that's like an RPG would be both Kingdom Hearts and then...Brave Fencer Musashi? sweatdrop
I think you're more of a hack&slash gamer like me. Have you tried FFXII? I think you would really enjoy that one. I get bored of the going into a new battle scene, taking turns, etc. The battle system they use is pretty neat. Unfortunately, the bad part is that there is a lot of level grinding you have to do to beat some of the bosses -- and the end. The end is kinda tough too sweatdrop

Yeah..I've played up to the very first save point. I own the game, but I'm thinking eventually I'm going to get rid of it because from what I've seen played of it, it just..doesn't interest me. But we'll see if I ever get around to getting further into it.
Aww, I thought it was pretty good once you got going in it. It makes life a little easier if you've got a guide handy though to see where you should build your stats and what chests not to open if you wanna get the uber weapon later. Kinda stupid to put that in the game if you ask me though...how would you know what chests not to open without a guide? confused

I like FF9 so much better! Out of the FFs from 7 and on (the newer gen ones, I guess) I like 9 the best. So cute!

I think IX is my favorite..not because of the story line persay, but because this is the only FF game I've been able to get through most of it without a guide. I did most of the stuff on my own.
Same with me! Then I got somewhere in the third disc and it got super hard and I gave up sweatdrop

Ooooh, that game looks fun! It's weird to think that these games were released ten years ago.

Yeah!! You're really good at RPGs...while I kinda suck. Did you ever get around to FFXII?

Gambits are the bestest. People who claim that the game plays itself that way don't know what they're talking about. Too bad that system probably won't happen again. crying

I didn't have too much trouble with having to level until I started going after the really out there stuff... maybe it's because I really enjoyed the mark-hunting sidequests in that game that I was always plenty leveled enough. Now that I want to do some of the optional dungeons though I'm feeling the hurt.

It's funny, I never considered myself really into the Final Fantasy series, usually I attach myself more to other RPGs, and yet I've played like everything since 6. I had a friend who was really into the monster designs so I played 9 through so they could watch it (all the while he was trying to get me drunk too... so some parts a little hazy, like why the heck I fought that thing at the end.) I really like 9 for the nostalgia factor, kind of like why I like the movie Iron Monkey. It was done right in that respect.

I really love FFXII though. The characters, gameplay and color scheme really came through for me most with that one.

(I'm playing FFX-2 now, magical girl power... it's a terrible game but I'm getting used to it... good for little snippets at least.)

I probably won't be back until Wednesday of next week. emo

Internets go bye?
Yeah. So's the phone. I may pick up a... *ugh* cell phone at walmartz for cheap so I'm not completely without a phone. Maybe I can find a library or something. Hmm... I think there's a library in the elder's center. I'll have to check tomorrow..... or something.

xd I've started III-XII (minus XI) and I haven't beaten or got too far in at least half of them! I should play Kingdom Hearts! And a game about a fencer? Cool!

I enjoy the game..this tells about it. I sold it a while back because I needed money..
That looks fun! It's expensive on ebay so it must be popular xD

Yeah, so today I went thru all my comics. I had 4 HUGE boxes and 1 small one. It took me about 4 hours to go thru them all.

I only kept 1 small box worth. My brother told his roomies that I was chucking comics and they all came down and rummaged thru my recycle bin. xd They're lucky I'm so neat about it. Everything was tidily stacked in easy to remove bags.

ninja I kept all the "good" stuff tho. (ie. Death of Supes, Age of Apocalypse, first issues of stuff. Cyclops and Jean's wedding, Supes' return, etc.)

I feel bad at being sleepy. I still have so much to do and pack up that I don't feel I should go to bed. I'm so freaking tired, tho. sad Still have to unhook my computer as you can see. sweatdrop

The two of you should drop the 20 bucks or so for Neverwinter nights... there's a bit of everything in there. Some tactical, and definitely some hack and slash.

Shouj, I think you'd like some of the mage spells too.
I'm fairly positive my brother has it. I'll ask him when I get the chance. You mentioned something about setting up a private server for a game?

Oh yeah, and Skizz, I too am excited for Fable 2. It looks promising!

I was messing with Hero Save on Fable: TLC...and totally screwed up my game. rofl I was trying to do the get young glitch in it
Ransom Victim quest after you beat Jack of Blades -- go to the Temple of Avo, hero save, donate enough to get the gift of youth, teleport out of the quest region and revert back to an old file (the hero save one) and keep repeating xPPP....but yeah. I guess I found out too late that Hero Saves can mess things up crying

I guess I'll just have an old man running around killing things now. emo
