Yeah, you were always really good! Though I got through all my RPGs on my own. cool But you're better at the fighting and Zelda-type games! I'm sure you'll get the hang of Devil May Cry. And that is a sweet deal.

Shoujo Phoenix iBarty Shoujo Phoenix iBarty Shoujo Phoenix On what mode though? Since I know easy is a cake walk.
But, you must be an amazing gamer then if it was so easy.. I never said it was easy..lol. I played it on Normal though. sweatdrop The thing is, if the camera angles weren't so retarded, I wouldn't have issues. Unfortunately, when something flies at me out of nowhere because I can't see what I'm fighting against and takes my health bar down to a sliver of red in one hit, I'm not sure I can call the game pure enjoyment. Ohh okay. Well, I really got into the God of War games, and then I decided to give DMC a try. Some of the bosses were hard, and sometimes it took me a while to figure some puzzle type things out but..eventually I got it. The part I'm stuck on for the second I haven't been able to figure out though..so I suppose I could just look it up online but I don't want to. sweatdrop Yeah, the running around figuring things out is very easy along with regular monsters, but the bosses are killer. I guess the first Phantom battle is supposed to be one of the most difficult (a difficult one to beat especially so early in the game), but actually turned out to be not so bad once you got a strategy going. I have issues with patience -- I'm more used to run in, melee the s**t out of whatever when the opportunity strikes, and roll back out, rinse and repeat. This game isn't like that xP
GoW is sorta similar, it seems. I actually think the regular things you fight in GoW are a lot more difficult, especially if you get swamped.
I picked up the first three DMCs at GameStop - $30 new in their special box set. An excellent deal! It should keep me busy for a while due to the actual challenge of the game.
Skizz mentioned Fable 2 a little while back in here, which reminded me I wanted to try the first one. I picked up Fable: The Lost Chronicles and beat it in like, a day without any problems. So it's like, I'm used to picking up a game and just breezing on through. Rachel could tell you. When she got stuck in games, I'd help her out. xD So I think it just damages my gaming ego a little when I have to take quite a few tries to beat the bosses in DMC gonk I got the boxset thing too..but I had gotten mine at Best Buy. I think it was on sale at the time though..because I don't think I paid $29.99 for it..I think it might have been $19.99..but if not, then it was the first price..but I'm pretty sure when I got it, it was on sale.
But yeah, I know what you mean about the boss thing. There's this one guy that kept coming back and he just sucked.. I don't know how far you are so I won't say what/who it is. As for GoW..that's really easy for me but that's because it's a button mashing game basically. I still enjoy the gore though. biggrin The only real hard thing I've come across are the puzzles where I actually have to use my brain (I'm not very good at those kind of things so..) and....in GoW II I'm like...dreading fighting the three sisters because I hear they're hard as hell. I haven't gone any further than right before you fight them. sweatdrop

I'm only on mission 4...so I'm still trying to get used to the game and the camera angles. Nelo is actually not too tough but it's the camera that screws me over. If I can figure out how to keep Nelo in my vision, I'll be on my way though. Even if not, it'll only take a couple more tries, I'm sure.
I actually still need to finish GoW...I guess I'll eventually pick up the second one. It's pretty cheap now!
Another game I wanna pick up is Okami - the Wii one! It just came out on Wii. Maybe I'll get some graduation money for that one. I also wanna try out...Shadow of the Colossus, and a couple of the more recent Ninja Gaidens, though I hear NG is pretty damn tough too.

Have you tried FFXII? I think you would really enjoy that one. I get bored of the going into a new battle scene, taking turns, etc. The battle system they use is pretty neat. Unfortunately, the bad part is that there is a lot of level grinding you have to do to beat some of the bosses -- and the end. The end is kinda tough too sweatdrop

DMC III is on that list too gonk crying I'd like to pick up Okami as well being I've heard good things about it. It'd make sense for me to get the one for the ps2 being I have that system..but I want to get it for the Wii even though I don't have that yet.

But we'll see if I ever get around to getting further into it.

Shouj, I think you'd like some of the mage spells too.
