"She's the one with the vaccine!" The woman pointed, the crowd of people surging towards them, all pleading and screaming for the vaccine.
Backing away, she clung to the back of Kinikki's shirt.. She hated crowds.

"She's all out, lady..!" He gulped, turning, he picked her up and ran for the nearest allyway. No way were they gonna' get mobbed.

The crowd following they were begging, pleading for the anti virus, offering money, material items - even children and promises of illicit encounters. Xan clinging, she felt horrible.. They were running, because of her.

Holding her steadily with his left arm, he used the right one to hoist them up onto the fire escape. Stroking her back to reassure her, he continued to climb..

Framing herself, she jumped down from his arms and started running, checking no mortals had made it to the fire escape before pushing the topmost ladder awat from the wall.. The mob couldn't reach them, now.

Stopping, he watched her from where he was.. A little startled by the fact that she left his arms.

Still rather shaken, she fell backwards, sitting on her a** on the roof. She's caused a mass riot.. She'd only tried to help. Even worse, she'd dragged Kinikki into it..

Jumping off the ladder, he rushed to her side and crouched down beside her, his arms going around her gently. "Sweetie.. You helped someone.. Don't feel like that.."

Nodding, she closed her eyes, playing with one of his buttons. "I guess I'll have to be good and stay inside again.."

*Rogue got up and walked to a small house near the edge of the city. the little shack looked like the exact thing it was....a drug house. Rogue broke down the door and walked in on a small party going on...the room was filled with expensive things...this was a group of looters as well as drug addicts.
Rogue grabbed one quickly from behind the neck and bit into him, his blood coarsing with some experimental ecstacy. it tasted good but it burned all the way down her throat. what was wrong with her...she did not know. an epidemic must be spreading quickly and quietly throughout the city. the ecstacy inside this man numbed her somewhat, but this type of pain was unusual to her since it had been around 500 years since she was ill.*
