Streamjumper Skizzors iBarty I'm almost thinking about doing a Gaia panel at the next con I go to...but I don't know how successful I'd be. I don't know. I want to do more with the Anime Detour next year but I don't know what my funds will be. I don't know if you really can, since you're not staff.. at the most I'd think you'd only be allowed to do a Gaian meet-and-greet sort of thing, and AFAIK those pretty much run themselves.. Actually, you can run a Gaia panel, they've been done at quite a few cons. You just can't pass your panel off as official or yourself as Gaia staff. You CAN talk about Gaia and explain its ways, history, etc with people. That is, unless things changed without me noticing it. The basic idea is that it is like how someone can throw a Gundam panel without being officially involved in any part of the Gundam franchise. You talk about the history, explain plot points, talk about gunplas, and generally have fun.

Yay..dinner was really good tonight. I don't usually like fish but...I think since that one time I had fish and chips at the Ren Fest, I've liked it since. It was breaded, and that's what I like with the fish but...still. At least I'm eating fish. heart

iBarty This actually makes sense because with the one yaoi panel I went to at Anime Detour, the girl talked about the history, etc and showed various things. Ooh.. eek I went to this panel at MangaNEXT called "Yaoi: State of the Industry." It was an intelligent discussion between the audience and the panelists (a guy from MediaBlasters's Kitty Media yaoi imprint, and a girl from DramaQueen) about.. well.. the state of the industry, and the direction the genre was taking in western fandom. It was THE BEST PANEL EVER. heart

Do do do...bored. I have to wait for the third episode to finish loading or something. It keeps pausing itself like it did with the second one when I first tried to watch it. I didn't really have any problems with that tonight being I had it on pause for a long time. I haven't had the third one on pause for a while but..that's because I want to watch it! gonk
