A wry smile touched her lips, Kiah’s spicy actions as she quietly approved the good-natured little kicks the young man was receiving from his careless actions. Like Kyle, Sil was pleased to see that Kiah was in good spirits and that her injury seemed to be getting better, lifting some worry from her heavy chest. Despite their little chat about the situation, guilt still weighed on her heavily. The relationship between Kyle and Kiah was a familiar one, and even though the young man seemed a little over spirited she was pleased to see that Kiah still had people from her old life in her new one.
At Kyle’s comment about other people, Sil’s interest instantly peaked and her irritation at the young man evaporated, though she couldn’t help but still hold a slight exasperation for Kiah’s purposes for being out of bed. They had been drowning in papers before, and though it would be a tough climb back up the organized mountain, she knew they could do it again while Kiah needed rest. Her attention turned to Kyle with a wicked glint in her eyes. “Ohhh, so you’re the one that’s going to have all the good dirt on Kiah, are you? Well in that case,” she grinned and held a hand out to him. “I’m Sil, and I think you and I need to have some story time to tell me about our resident paper-bunny-enigma.”
As he tried to impress her with his strength, she tried not to, but she barked out a laugh and then covered her mouth. “I could probably carry you. Going to have to do a little more than that to impress me.”
