After shaking Maruku's hand he drops his own to his side and sits back down on the steps calmly letting Maruku into some more details of himself "I will be studying Yami the art of dark energy....and yourself?"

" I have just started Tsuchi. Art of earth. I hear that the new sensei is Fenris fenrir. She is a good person and a good friend. I am sure she will teach you well. " he replied simply before leaning against the door.

((i played a long time ago as a diff char and am actually the one who got neko into gaia...kinda ironic))

The voice came from above, penetrating the dojo with its tone of mild humor, hinting at the owner of the voice. A man dropped to the ground, a smile on his lips.

he was about to respond to Shinmatsu before the man dropped to the ground. maruku regarded him for a moment before daring to ask.
" What do you mean...To survive to be like you? "

Not acting too suprised Shin turns toward the direction that the voice came from.
"The name's Shinmatsu; you are...?"Says Shin trying not to but probably sounding rude anyways.

It took only a moment for Zen to cover his blue eyes. It was bad enough when Sparky played his games, but when Fuji's kid... Oh.

Zenrai It took only a moment for Zen to cover his blue eyes. It was bad enough when Sparky played his games, but when Fuji's kid... Oh. "Kid, the names Zen, now I know you've heard of me. Your Pa, must have mentioned something." Marukus' face darkened for a moment but then returned to its unemotional stet. " He and I never were able to talk much. i have read about you in his journal. He mentioned you alot when he was stuck in the form of a cat. Something about stealing some potion or something. "
