But we were playing with a crappy speaker and frequency changing machine. so it's slightly different. I couldn't here past 17khz in school on the crappy speaker but I heard all of the ones on that site.

I couldn't here past 17khz in school on the crappy speaker but I heard all of the ones on that site. I fear I'm going deaf. I have to listen really hard to make out everything 19khz and up. It doesn't help that computers and stuff make their own high pitched noise(the ones from TVs are particularly noticeable) and it's very difficult to distinguish electrical and comp high pitched noises from ringtone high pitched noises. I tend to tone out stuff at that frequency because it drives me nuts otherwise.

most people can hear between 20hz - 20khz
