Then Setsuna's cellphone starts ringing. He looks at the caller id, and sees that it's his mother. He picks it up in a quick fashion and answers promtly.
The news is grave, and by the time Setsuna gets off the phone, he's feeling very very unhappy. He waits for Dom to come back out though, to inform the little devil that he needs to go home for a few days.

Dominic does eventually come out of the washroom... but setsuna's demeaner has entirely changed, and he's not even looking at his work anymore! "What's wrong?"

Setsuna jumps, having been so absorbed in his thoughts that he hadn't heard Dom come in. "Ah! Dominic-kun. I have to go away for a few days." he admits, "I must go back home."

"My father... just passed away..." Setsuna replies. "And since I'm the heir, I have to go back and take care of things, and be there for my mother."

"And go to the funeral." Dominic surmises. Then he remembers that along with having no hobbies, Setsuna doesn't really have any friends either, "I could come with you."

Just tell my dad that his weirdo son decided to go on a road trip, we can make up some terrible stuff I did to report on... I can borrow one of dad's cars, and drive you there, so you don't have to take the train..."

"I'm not sure I trust you behind the wheel of a car..." Setsuna replies. "What if you told your dad you were going on the road trip, then he'd insist I go with you." Setsuna replies. "Keiko-chan can't come though... My house is too small for that. We will be sharing a room as it is."

Dom shrugs, "She'll understand. I bet she'd rather you didn't go alone too. I'll call her, then I'll get dressed and go bug dad."
He goes off to his room.

Setsuna calls his mom back, to inform her that his boss's son, who is his friend, will be coming too. Even with the hardship their family is facing, she is still happy that Setsuna has moved so far up in the company.

Dom comes out of his room, dressed normallyish to go see his dad (although he was too lazy to remove his eyeliner), "I told Keiko, she's ok with it."
