[Road: I would check out Posemaniacs.com if you haven't already. But while I agree with you that doing the same things over and over would make you lose interest, I believe there should be a balance between all aspects of art. Learning isn't always fun, sadly. xD]

@Gidget: True, there are rules that one must learn, but the problem I've had with past art teachers is that they made those rules incredibly boring and horrible. The thing is, it would only work if the teachers make learning art fun, which my previous teachers have failed to do so, thus giving me a sour attitude on them. Maybe if I found a art teacher who didn't act stuck-up and didn't have a "better than thou" attitude just because they have a degree in art or whatever, I would probably be a lot more patient with them.))

Jack: The main thing to keep in mind when being an artist, or being taught, is to always keep an open mind and take constructive criticism well. I'm having problems with the latter, but My art teacher would always come around to us and ask, "Does her stomach really look like that?" or something along those lines. It was disheartening, but at the same time, it advanced your skills. I hope you find a teacher like that.

Sadly, my boyfriend is like that, so I never hear the end on what should be changed. ;n;

@Gidget: Then you're learning wrong! D< lol If it's something you enjoy it shouldn't be a bore *nod nod* At least imho haha Doing it constantly isn't so bad.. it's the being forced thing. Art I think, should be a good way to tell stories, advertise, or just give a statement... either way, you're sending a message.. it's kinda hard to send your message with someone rattling in your ear @__@;;;

BUT I have heard of posemaniacs *nod nod* It's pretty alright C= Thanks for the tip though! I have a big art bookmark folder filled with downloadable art books, also a cool gesture tool for animals and people (clothed or not lol) so if you want I could also link you guys to some cool ones ^-^

@Jack: I think you shouldn't second guess yourself! If you love your art, it should be something to show off!
