This is gonna be a stretch, but. There was a thread a while back (at LEAST a year.. probably more than two) that discussed sexism towards female characters in anime and manga, and how they were unfairly discriminated against by fangirls. To prove the point, it gave a description of a female character, except the whole time, it described her using male pronouns. It basically painted this picture of a character type that would be very popular with the lady fans -- and then it was revealed that it was describing Kaoru Kamiya, who a lot of fangirls hated. Do any of you by chance know who wrote it, or have a secret list of old thread URLs, or something?
