She tilted her head a bit at that, not really imagining him ever being tired. She then realized how silly that seemed and shook her head to get rid of those thoughts.
Kiah couldn't help giggling at his similar reaction, wincing a bit from the movement. "Well, I suppose they didn't want another repeat of last night..." she tried pulling her leg back and scowled when she found there wasn't much give.

He stood up and moved over to the corner of the bed where her ankle was tied. Without even looking at the nurses, he unsheathed Mugen and slipped the blade between her ankle and the bindings. In one quick motion, he sliced through them and freed her ankle. He sheathed Mugen again when he had finished.
"It doesn't make sense for her not to be able to get up and use the restroom whenever she pleases," he explained to no one in particular.

"Thanks..." she gave him a grateful look, realizing that she'd been saying that to him a lot lately. She then wondered exactly why he'd been helping her so much, but was distracted by the glares from the Head Nurse across the room. Kiah gave her a weak smile and shrugged a bit when it seemed like she'd let it go for now.
"... She's going to yell at me later, I just know it..." she sighed, sinking down in her bed.

He didn't know himself why he had been helping her, either. Or why he had been helping any of the people he had. He never used to, but things changed. He crossed his arms again and looked at her.
"Yell back. She might be tending to your injuries, but she doesn't control you."

I suppose I can understand, but still... : / ))
Kiah blinked at him, as if not processing what he'd just told her. Even if she did feel like yelling at the woman, she couldn't do it after all she'd done to help everyone in the Order.
"... She means well, and it was my fault for the most part... I wouldn't want to yell at her for making sure I get better..." she looked down at her hands and stretched her legs a bit to distract herself. She really deserved to get yelled at for running out yesterday... just as she believed she deserved that shot to the side for shooting someone else.

"I'll do my best," she said, smiling after being startled out of her thoughts. Kiah felt a bit disappointed when he decided to leave, but knew he never had to stay in the first place.
"Okay! Bye Kanda. And thanks again!" she waved him off, proceeding to grab the book off her side table and start reading. Maybe she could convince Johnny to bring her some of that paperwork later...
