Sorry, I really hate that game.
There's a Cid in every Final Fantasy. In VII, he's one of the actual characters (quite an important one too). You can also control the Cid from Final Fantasy 4 and Final Fantasy Tactics. But this Cid is the best.
It's not the Cid my cousin and I refer to as the "Robin Williams" Cid.
