"We bond at the start of or before puberty for the individual. It works best that way for both Dragon and Rider. Ages vary but it is generally around the age of thirteen for humans. Twenties may be young, however the are too far past the desired age." she said with a smile, bobbing her head. "Though .. you have the great honor of being respected by several dragons and riders. Not everyone can say that. There is no question of trust or honor from you. Think of it as tradition."
"Humans and Elves may be able to bond with dragons before or at the beginning of puberty, young, around the age of 13 for a human." he said with a smile and a nod.

"Mmm from the beginning?" he said with a grin. "That day .. I will never forget. We had made a quick trip over the mountains to search for some travelers that come in the late season. We were gone for a week. When we returned, here was this little girl with blue hair, wearing an over sized shirt. She smiled pleasantly and said the greeting of the elves, though she was clearly not elven. We asked where she came from .. she said she flew with blue wings mother. We didn't know what that meant, she shrugged saying she could not explain more. She said her family lived here. We promised to help her find her family. We didn't know who they were, after months, we didn't find anyone so we agreed she could stay .. beyond feeling responsible, she had absolutely stolen our hearts." he said with a smile, looking completely nostalgic.

"Oh yes. Always a joy to be with, always looking for the brighter things in life, despite the hardships, despite being hard on herself." he said pausing to laugh. "Just before she arrived, it was my birthday. Feldspar's birthday is a few weeks later. When she arrived, we celebrated for my birthday since we had been away and not done so then and again celebrated for Feldspar.
Come next year, we celebrate for both again. At Feldspar's celebration, Ziven got quiet, pondering, moved to the corner. Finally I realize this and ask her 'what is on your mind?' and she turns and looks nervous saying 'my apologies, I was trying to remember.' which threw me off completely, so I ask 'Remember what? Can't we help?' she looked much more shy then 'Again my apologies, this is not the time .. do I have a birth to celebrate also? I cannot remember. I am honored to celebrate your births, just I wonder of myself in this moment.' .. I had never seen her blush so deeply.
Shy of herself, shy of asking for anything that might gain for her. We agreed that hers would be between ours and that we should celebrate for hers the very next day for our mistake. Know what she said to that?"

Sighs a bit "Thats is true. Though i was seeking friendship more and maybe a companion like you and Brom are, Something that is THAT close. But if it isnt possible then its no use trying to force it out or continuing on to trying. Solitude is quite the drag" He said with a firm tone. He liked the idea that she was trying to explain and maybe cheer him up though for him. It was something that was in his core. He smiled so she wouldnt worry about it and took a sip of tea and lay it down next to the bed and on the floor.
"I hope you are more calm and better. I hate to see you back growling like a feral beast. Ziven is allright when she wakes up she will be just dandy. So Tell me more about yourself feldspar"

"Physically .. yes. Mentally .. is another story." she said with a nod, looking at Ziven with a concerned expression before turning back to Seisuke, the same look of concern on her face.

"I believe she will some day. For now .. still she believes that she has done something wrong in life, she must make up for this wrong before she should be allowed to be cared for." she started but stopped herself, looking at him. "We have never understood this in her, we try to encourage her, to show her she is just as worthy as anyone else yet she persists. Please don't let her know I've shared this with you, she would be devastated. Trying to force her to think differently on the subject just makes it worse. She has improved greatly, believe it or not. When we accept what she says, encourage her to be strong, to lean from the experience, she is much more receptive." she said with a small smile, bobbing her head, seeming rather like Ziven in that moment.

*he nods and assures her* Im not going to tell her i promise in fact i swear i wont. I am man of my word i can guarantee you that. Though i know what you mean by that she always says "What is it that you require? Are you happy?" Ina way that makes her look like a bit mechanic and like she owes me and needs to pay me back. I try to be happy for her and able to help her in all that she needs. But i cant always be happy you know. Im not trying to offend her in any way. Is just that what truly would make me happy is that she is even if it is....... *he giggles* Im sorry i rambled too much my apologies
