Reigen smiled and took Kieiru's hand with her good one as she guilded him to the back door. Opening it slowly and quietly she stood there for a few minutes listening to see if she heard anything that would say that her aunt was awake.

Kieiru followed in silence, his heart in his throat. He swallowed a few times, but silently walked through the kitchen.

Reigen closed the door behind them after feeling confednet enough to go in. She held Kieiru's hand still guilding him through the house quietly.

Kieiru continued to walk, trying to avoid anything that would bring attention to him. He looked behind him, as he tripped on the leg of a chair. He fell to the ground, covering his mouth to muffle his surprise. "...god...dammit..."

Reigen was a bit surprised at the sound and she quickly turned around. "Kieiru are you okay, I forgot to warn you about the chair."

"Fine...fine...(he fell silent listening) Do you think she heard me?" He got up, stepping over the chair, only to fall again. He gritted his teeth and clenched his fists, getting up slowly. "Your kitchen is like a maze in the dark Reigen-san."

"I'm not sure, I don't seem to hear anything upstairs." She looked at the celing as she strained to listen to the sounds. As Kieiru tripped again Reigen moved in closer to him. "I'm sorry." She lean in her eyes ajusting a little to the dakr as huged him. Then turning around in the hug she movied Kieiru's arms to wrap around her waist. "Here this way if you follow closely behind me you won't run into anything." She smiled a bit not sure if he's see it in the dark as she placed her hand over his own.

Kieiru was surprised as she took his hands and put them at her waist, but he relaxed slightly as he didnt wake her aunt up. He was positive he had bruises on his shins, and he thought he might have hurt his ankle. He wouldnt let Reigen see though, as he followed behind her. "Where are we headed Reigen-san?"

"Up to my room, why? Where did you think we were going?" Reigen talked in a soft whisper as she walked with him. Guilding him through the darkness till they reached the stairs.

"I wouldnt know..." He looked at the stairs. "Those dont squeek do they?"

"Not really, the carpet muffles the sound." She giggled a bit. "You worry too much sometimes, Kieiru."

Kieiru smiled and closed his eyes, shrugging. "I get it from my Mother." He looked at the stairs again, and sighed. "Sorry if I do worry too much..."

Reigen looked back at him as she slowly started to climb the stairs. Still whispering she said, "It's alright...sometimes I don't worry enough so it evens out."

Kieiru smiled, and walked on the edge of the stairs. Even if the carpet muffled any groans from the floor, it could still cause a lot of noise. He held a breath in as he walked; a sharp pain from his ankle made him wince, as he closed his eyes and bit his lip to surpress a whimper.

Reigen finally made it to the top of the stairs and taking a peek down the hallway to make sure that the coast was clear she looked back at Kieiru with a smile.
