Survival of the fittest.* Ali slowly sat himself down into the wet sand before he lied down with his hands behind his head, watching up at the dark clouds and the rain that vanished above him. It was refreshing weather.* Besides then I personally might not have to make Yawg stop drooling after your p***y, pardon the expression though.

"Which he does not truly lust after any longer when Ms Crow told him to stop. Though he does not believe I am aware of it, he says such things only to attempt to irritate me not out of actual desire." she said softly, also looking to the clouds, hands clasped behind her back as she stood near to him. "I understand what you are saying though. And thank you."

Now there's two words I don't hear often, Thank you. * Ali laughed a little there he lay, scratching his chin a bit. It had in fact been awhile since anyone had thanked him for something, last was probably when he repaired the doll to a girl in some village. Sowing the dolls head back in place after it had been ripped off by some small boys, it caused him to smirk a little.* If you ever need my help, don't wait a second to come and get me. I'll scare off anyone that messes with you.

"Well I hope you will grow accustomed to hearing thank you as I will undoubtedly be saying thank you many times." she said softly. Lowering her head a bit, she shifted her arms, now hugging herself some as he continued. "Much appreciated though I would not want to bother you. I may not be much of a fighter but I can be rather resourceful."

Not like I have much to do, my countries and cities are more or less running themselves nowadays.* Ali snickered a bit as he glanced up at her, yeah..she could probably be very resourceful.*

Nodding her head was her only reply to what he said, not really sure how to act in this situation. Was he joking? Was this a sign of depression? If anything, this felt very out of character for him but she did not want to point that out to him, instead choosing to go with the flow.

* Slowly Ali rose back up to his feet and walked some steps forward and away from Ziven, clenching his hands together. He needed a release or things might go very badly very soon, the image of his daughter in tears and reaching out to him kept flashing around in him mind along with the bodies of his son and Clavi. Slowly the red and black aura began to emerge around him, followed by small purple lightning jolts that trailed up and down his arms and body. Ali had his feet by the water edge and by now you could clearly see how the water and sand grains began to rise up around him, eventually floating in mid-air around him. Then silence. Only the crackling of the lightning jolts could on occasions be heard. Then the loud gust of wind before a large sonic boom mixtured by Ali's vampire shriek sent sand and water hurling away from him, tossing up dust clouds that slowly hid him once things had begun to settle down. A good thing too, it made sure nobody saw the few tear drops that fell from Ali's eyes before he got a hold of himself and took a long deep breath which later on became a laugh.* It's odd, perhaps even as you say destiny...I finally am strong enough to feel worthy of being married to Clavi and yet I became that by loosing her. Life sure has a sick sense of humor. Oh well...Perhaps I'll try to create harmony this time rather then chaos.

As his energy began to build, she took a few steps farther yet away from him, not knowing what he was doing and feeling odd as a result of what she felt. The barrier that she had been holding only over her head quickly extended downward, surrounding her. A moment before he released the energy he had built up, she had turned toward him, still facing his back. As everything settled, she was surprised that he was laughing and listened to his words.
The bittersweet realization he expressed made sense to her. Yet she still wondered; "Strong enough by standard of whom? Clearly you were strong enough for Clavi else she would not have given her hand in marriage." she said softly. A slight pause before continuing. "Indeed, fate so often seems to take us all away from those we hold dear. Makes a person suffer without them and either grow stronger from the experience or wither away."

* Ali slowly turned towards her and simply smirked a little, looking up at the sky afterwards then at the trees.* If I told you I had found a different version of reality in which we cannot see or feel and that I could travel to that place, mind you it would seem to be filled with a lot of grotesque and strange environment and creatures, Would your curiosity be strong enough to follow me into the depths of it and merely investigate? Retrieve more information then the lone survivor out of four squads managed to do?

Star came to the beach for a little me time. She was a little down today and usually the beach would do the trick. She could walk the beach and listen to the water, then she would slowly feel her spirits lifting.

Slowly walking the beach she thought she saw someone she knew, but wasn't sure, she was yet too far away from the object and didn't plan to get too close. She needed "ME" time. She walked right to the waters edge and let the waves splash her feet. The water was just perfect. She walked on down the beach withthe water splashing on her feet for quite some time.

Turning to him, she tilted her head. "I am not sure I understand what you are asking. From the way you worded your questioning, I believe you know very well that I am always curious about things and would like to see for myself rather than learn from the experience of another." she said as a slight grin crossed her lips.

The water was feeling so good, that Star undressed and went for a dip in the ocean. She wasn't sure if she should do this or not, but she was enjoying the water. It was always nice to find something that would get her mind off of things. She was having one of those days where she thought about her past. Something she didn't like to do.

Star had had enough of a swim and went back to the water's edge. She would continue sitting just on the beach for a while before returning to the bakery.

Here, a sneak peak.* Ali dug around in his pouch for a few moments before he lifted up a orb, holding it close to Zivens face so she could see. Although it was scurry, one could clearly see a odd orange and red, rustic wall with pipes sticking out from it. Then it panned down to a metal floor before it moved up to one of Ali's soldiers, a few jokes were cracked among themselves as the walked down what seemed to be a corridor. Then an odd scraping noise could be heard in the distance, growing louder every second until a loud bang was heard followed by a scream. In full view were a large man in a apron sowed out of skin, a large metal pyramid thing as it's head and a large cleaver in his right hand as well as a soldier held by his throat by his left. The next scenes were utter carnage as the figure first tore off the armor of the soldier with his right hand before stripping him off his flesh from the neck down afterwards, more screams could then be heard and the view turned to the rest of the soldiers who were desperately fighting odd creates and nurses with deformed faces. The orb shutting down as the large "Pyramid head" sent the cleaver towards whoever was viewing.
Ali watched Ziven for a few moments before he stuffed the orb back into place, folding his arms.* I'm gonna go there to investigate regardless if you want to follow or not.
