Karasu would get hit in the face with the ball and it fell to the ground breaking cleanly in two. That would only continue to fuel his fury. He would reach back into his bag and pull out another ball. Feeling the adrenaline pulsing through his veins combined with the rage would actually make him feel very alive. He would push all those emotions and try to hit the Lapras with the ball a second time! The shinobi was past the point of caring now.

Maddie missed!
The Blitzle successfully evaded the flying cap and the trail of blood that streamed out behind it, but it kept her from properly landing an attack. She sighed, frowning and stomping a hoof. >Whyyyyyyy are you still standing?< she remarked, sounding both annoyed and perky. >You should be like... napping. And dreaming weird dreams.< With a sigh, she'd leap backward on the crater, trying to dodge ahead of time.

Alice watched the situation nervously. Of course, she could have ended this a while back... she had two Pokeballs, she could have caught it. But she didn't want this Pokemon on her team. And if all else failed... well, the Ralts' Mean Look hadn't succeeded. Hopefully, Maddie could tough it out just a bit longer. "Keep it up! Quick Attack once more!"

The Ralts on the otherhand would give the Blitzle a look that could peel paint, his mind invading her with a series of gruesome and gorey imagines as he attempted to use Confusion!
Jin-Hua would pick up the pokeball and attach it to her belt. She would be able to consider what to name him on the journey back. Instead she would thank Li and then return him to his pokeball and continue moving down the mountain.
So far so good. The girl continued down the mountain path. Slowly but surely she was trying to reach the bottom. She still had quite a long way to go before she would be able to reach the beginning of the island and finally go complete her mission. At the same time, she was happy how things were turning out. Her pokemon had grown and she had added new members to her team.
What to name the Gligar... Why was he so familiar? It was like a name was trying to show itself...she just couldn't remember exactly what it was... This was food for thought as she continued moving slowly down the mountain...

It was impossible to confuse those who's minds were already a confusing mess. Or some one might think, as Maddie managed to completely ignore the confusion in order to land her attack. >Didya see me, boss? Didya, didya?< Pleased as cherry punch, the Blitzle trotted back to her trainer, giving the metal maid a nuzzle.
Alice smiled nervously-- not that she wasn't pleased that Maddie had been victorious, but that had been closer than she would have liked. She hadn't realized how paper-thin her new acquisition's defense were."You did wonderful," she murmured, patting the Blitzle's head. (Her Honedge, snarky as ever, gave her a blunt but affectionate whack with his tassel.)
Jin-Hua would find her next stretch of the Journey filled with a curious event. Landing in front of her a Delibird would appear, taking a carefully wrapped gift out of it's tail pouch and handing it to her before flying off. The question was did she open it, or merely scream and run?
Jin-Hua looked at the gift and was immediately suspicious... what could be inside? The girl was concerned... but curious. Well one way to find out. She tossed Li's pokeball and as the Shieldon looked at her, she motioned towards the box. "Uh I need you to open this for me." she remarked.
The Shieldon looked at her like she was crazy... or maybe she was weak... Or possibly a combination of both. Either way, he stepped forward to open the box (not noticing Jin-Hua taking a couple steps back).
The sound of something swishing through the air would actually make Hiro jump to the side. He didn't look for the sound, he didn't try and find the threat, at the moment he simply moved.
It was a lesson learned by a ghost type pokemon that had him on the move. A lesson that had threaten his life, and it was that lesson well learned that helped him here as Blight's eyes would narrow as she would seek to hone in on the actually source that at the moment, Hiro only seek to avoid.
The leaves rustling near his head as he made to avoid the bullet seed without truly seeing it by simply jumping to the side.

Starter Pokemon: Bulbasaur (f) Name & Level: Blight (lvl: 4) [Temperament] Calm Bio: Blight was a part of a family of four Bulbasaur when they came upon a human child that looked to be half-starved and heavily fatigue. The poor creature collapsed in front of them, and because of their feelings of pity they took him in and pledge to take care of him. Simply enough, Blight just continuing that commitment, which is how she ended up with her supposed trainer.
