Aymet appeared to have gotten an invitation to an entirely different sort of masquerade. In truth he stopped reading the prom stuff somewhere around 'mas' and filled it in with 'ked vigilante' and he did not regret it for a minute. And so far as he knew, neither did his blind date, who he'd picked up ever so romantically to avoid the broken glass.

Shun paused as he saw a certain masked individual among masked people.
Was that Aymet?

Sibyl had been wandering around waiting for her date to arrive. That's what you do, right? You wait for them to--OH GOODNESS THERE GOES THE CHANDEL--she was in the air now what is happeni--oh! "Wheeeeeeeee~!" She giggled, grinning from ear to ear as she hung in Aymet's grip like a selkie rag doll. "Thank you, Aymet~! This is fun!" Is this what a date is? Being carried? It was fun! She wanted to go on more dates!
...Ohmyjack!
"MALODORE KEPT ITS PROMIIIIISE~!" She cheered, flailing her arms. "Malodore! Malodore! HI MALODORE HI~!" Though she made no move to actually leave Aymet's side. She couldn't even if she wanted to, he was holding her very securely. He was a good date, yes. Ohhh! Was that pretty purple ghoul the one he had said he wanted to dance with? Yaaaaaay! She hoped so!
Oh!
"Are we going to dance, Aymet?" Sibyl chirped, looking up at the boil with widened teal eyes.

Nuru siiiiiidled right up on Zar, the chaos surrounding them lost on the dog boil as his tail thumped feverishly against the side of the table.
"Ya like that?" he asked Zar of the snack he'd clearly just polished off.

Barth was used to being carried places. It was his preferred method of transport, when a vehicle was not available. And normally, he would treat it with a great amount of gratefulness and relief.
He was, however, aware of said cultural implications.
He turned a variety of different colors as the blood rushed to his face.
"Err, err- Calder, not that I, err- I mean, I am...we are- I mean I do..but err, but," He gave up sort of halfway through the promenading, and once outside and set on his feet, adjusted his cravat with one claw in a very flustered sort of way.
He meant to ask if Calder had meant anything by it, and might they sit down a while to discuss some things, and Barth was feeling very hot and dizzy by turns.
Dance with me?
Instead of asking Calder, Barth swallowed thickly, then nodded.

The reaper at least chuckled at Amarus’s comment about being a drowned ghost, and did grab another cup, though sipped this one at least. “ Nah, he will only be one of us as soon as he puts some more meat on those bones.” That being said, Hel reached out to pinch his side. “ So boney.” Her dual toned gaze shifted back to Amarus, and this time a small grin pulled at her lips. “ Ill suited? Nah. I can easily fight without my weapon as well…but I would be more than ready to give you a taste of both sometime. Ha! Do not apologize, I appreciate a ghoul with gumption.” She nodded her head a bit. Once Amarus took her hand, Hel held onto it firmly and gave it a shake before releasing. There. Amarus learned a new greeting this evening! “ Ah, no need to apologize friend…a habit is a habit, after all.” The ghoul may have made a bit of a sour face as she was reaffirmed as Mot’s friend, but she hid her mouth behind her cup of punch as she watched the two over the rim of it. Mot…did seem uncomfortable all of a sudden…was it because she showed up? It was Hel’s turn now to shift anxiously as her gaze darted to the side. Maybe she should…leave?

Zar turned his slitted gaze on Nuru for a long moment before nodding. "It was acceptable."
At least it hadn't gotten on his claws this time.
He flicked the cocktail stick away, "Yet another student council event dissolves into farce and chaos."
He rolled his eyes disdainfully, "Colour me surprised."

"This glitter is going to take AGES to get out." She muttered glaring at the igor. Pausing when Kiwi asked if this was normal.
A thoughtful look crossed the byakko's face for a moment. "Probably. As normal as could be considered anyways."
She then moved over towards where Christof was arms crossed and looking peeved still. "Sooo.... who's bright idea was it to make the crystal ball a glitter bomb?" She glittered all over the place, while others might've gotten a light dusting she looked like she bathed in it. "I want to thank them."
Actually she hadn't even noticed Riley was back from the dead nor that Mal was standing near the igor either.

Nuru visibly wilted just slightly at Zar's disapproval before a spark of cunning flickered in his eyes and a smirk soon followed, "Usually how it goes, it's what cha do with that chaos tho that mattahs."
He raised a brow at Zar curiously, "If you get my meanin'."

"Chryses Aurelius, yes," he acknowledged his identity and offered Mitzi the corsage and gave her his best approximation of a smile. It was even in the right direction and not too terribly creepy. "It's good to meet you, Miss Alder." He could at least pretend to be a gentleman and having a good time.
Especially in front of the huge, scary Horsewoman. Dear Jack, he had clearly been doing right to avoid them. She could probably use him as a toothpick and/or snap him like a twig. So he gave her a polite nod. "And you as well, Miss Shaheen."
His only response to her comment about their similar heights was some very inelegant spluttering. He had not even considered something like that, what did the Horsemen think of Halloweeners? ...What did they do all day on that preserve?
He finally managed to collect himself long enough to make a rather confused protest. "What do you mean, territories..."
If asked later, he would deny it stringently, but when the chandelier came crashing down, he did his best little girl impression. It was a little pathetic.

Amrita had been in the process of pulling Nuk from Nergui for a dance when the screaming happened. Chaos ensued, the chandelier fell, and in the mess she spotted a very familiar set of disembodied parts. If it were possible the ghoul paled, her arms dropping from around Nuk's to close near her throat to still the heart that didn't beat in the first place. Deep down she knew he'd be okay, but at the same time she couldn't be sure; that was his hard work shattered all over the floor, after all!
"Ah! Nuk, I'm s-sorry but I have to check on him!" She wasn't very thorough with her explanation - but when had she ever been? - and cast one final, apologetic look at the skinwalker and his not-date before leaving them to brave the crowd and the mess. As everyone set to help clean it up, Amrita made her way across the floor, stepping as gingerly as she could to avoid getting pieces of debris in her bare feet; Christof was never fond of her injuring the body in any way.
The ghoul had tunnelvision, not noticing anyone near Christof; just the injured Igor existed at this moment. Her grey eyes zeroed in on his missing appendages, glancing up only enough to spot someone holding his arm before looking away again, doing a mental checklist of all the parts she knew about and their current status. When the damage didn't seem too terribly bad relief flooded through her so quickly she seemed to deflate, still holding her backward hands tightly against her collar. In his state she didn't just want to throw her arms around him, after all!
"Oh thank Jack! You're okay!" His parts were there, he'd be fine! Just a little mending, whew.

Calder smiled at the nod, and felt himself warm as his actions were slowing being realized, but he shoved them away before he lost his momentum. This was prom. It was safe right now. He was with Barth. Life in this single night was perfect for him, and there was much more troubling things ahead. He just wanted things to be perfect, and he didn't want to bother being self-concious right now. There would be a talk later about what he had done - what he had.....proposed......but now he just wanted to hold Barth and dance.
He didn't need fancy lights or music for it either. All that was required was Barth's permission.
Taking one claw in his own hand, he stepped close, and placed a hand at the small of Barth's back. "That makes me very happy." He said, and he started to slowly move, a simple waltz that was a slow dance - even slower and more simpler than most, but he didn't want to over-complicate things when life was already complicated, or have Barth spend too much time exhausting himself to not enjoy the moment. "I'm glad that this Prom, I can dance with you." He had been set up a blind date his last prom and while the ghoul had been sweet, they lacked chemistry.
"I wish I could spend more time just doing things like this with you." It felt like they had little time to just enjoy themselves. To be young. To be together.
Everything feels so uncertain.
"Do you like me, Barth?" He asked, testing the demon.

Mot does not wish to drink more punch. If he drinks anymore he'd have to flee to the bathroom more times than he wanted to. The raven haired Grim, furrowed his brows and stared down at Hel as she pinched his sides, likely grasping more fabric than actual Mot. He really was just a sack of bones with skin stretched over top. "I may be boney, but I'm..." He tried to come up with a redeeming physical quality. "Uh..." . . . ".....Continue."The reaper leaned down as Amarus whispered to him, shaking his head and waving a hand. "I am fine. Simply stunned by the banter." He smiled and straightened back up. Sometimes a man just preferred to stay quiet.

Again that even look. "I don't purport to know what you mean." He wasn't entirely sure what the canine boil meant, and was in much too ill a mood to invest much effort in trying to figure it out. "If you are implying sabotage, I don't think I even need to lift a claw to sabotage what is already a sinking ship."
He patted his chest out of habit, looking for his notebook, only to remember it was far away, back in his dorm. Fantastic, he couldn't escape at all, just when he was going to count off the health violations of leaving broken glass all over.
"What did you mean exactly?"

Christof suddenly felt claustrophobic.
No, he couldn't walk, he only had one leg.
No, he had no idea where the glitter in the ball had come from, that was some other student council member's doing.
Of course he couldn't actually ANSWER any of this...
He glanced to Malodore for a moment, hand raised to sign, "Safety-pins?" before a familiar voice made him both sigh with relief and cringe in embarrassment.
Amrita! "Hmmmmnngg..." He wobbled, groping to half sit up and try to wrench his leg out from under the chandelier. It was as fixed as it was going to be.
Well... at least... it had been entertaining for people? It was never a good party unless some horrific tragedy happened, after all, maybe this would fill that quota?
The leg popped free and he tumbled back into a seated position before glancing back to the ghoul with a weak smile and a nervous shrug.
Wait... Riley was watching... oh god oh god oh god what she must think of him, his good work gone to waste, oh god...
