Leon Court " Oh." Leon sighed, looking out again towards the two. If there was anyone Aysun could relate to, it had to be Ray. They'd both been abandoned by their parents, even though Aysun didn't know it yet. He shook his head. " Can you go ask Nikolai to come here for me, please?" he asked the boy. Ray rolled his eyes. " Whatever. They're gonna get tired of my attitude soon enough and send me back to the orphanage, so don't waste your energy!" he replied, holding onto his legs even tighter.

  Reggie nodded and hurried back home, careful to dodge Aysun and Ray. After a couple minutes a purple cloud poofed besides Leon, Nikolai inside it. " If it isn't Daddy Court~" the Sin grinned once the cloud dissipated. " What is it, darling?" Aysun shook his head. " They're not gonna abandon you. They like you," he said.

Leon CourtLeon was about to speak, when Nikolai's greeting sank in. He blushed brightly. " Maybe don't call me that until it's past bedtime and our door is shut," he murmured, wrapping an arm aroudn his husband's waist and discreetly pinching the man's behind. He then gestured towards the two boys. " I don't really know what to do about those two." " They like Reggie," he corrected. " Everyone likes Reggie."

Nikolai laughed then followed Leon's gaze to the kids on the porch. " Aysun and Ray? They've got quite dynamic personalities despite their similar backgrounds. I say give it time. Soon enough they'll be close." Aysun shook his head. " They like you too. They don't have to pick just one person to like, 'cause then they wouldn't have adopted you too."

Leon Court" Are you sure?" he asked, watching them nervously. " I mean, it took ages for Jared, Levi, and I to all get along, and we were born brothers." He paused, eyes lowering a little as he remembered his brothers. Jared's birthday was coming up. He would've been 34. God, this sucked. The boy scoffed, standing up. " What do you even know? Your parents want you, your uncles want you. Nobody ever wants me. They only took me because Reggie won't get adopted without me."

Catching the expression, Nikolai lifted a hand to gently caress his husband's face. " It'll be alright, dearie. I suppose that even if they weren't to get along it was only a matter of time. If they don't like each other they'll at least acknowledge that we're all a family." " If they didn't like you that much then they wouldn't have adopted Reggie," Aysun pointed out. " Just 'cause people like Reggie doesn't mean they can't like you either. If you stop pouting so much and being mean then they'll like you even more."

Leon CourtHis sadness faded a little at his husband's touch, raising a hand to touch the man's wrist. " You always keep me levelheaded," he said appreciatively, eyes filled with love as he gazed at his husband. Who'd have been able to guess they'd all get this far? " Have you met Reggie? He's like, the best. Adopting me to get him is something that plenty have tried to do before," he said, looking over to his new temporary parents. " They're just the only one's that have gotten this far."

" Someone has to," the Sin grinned and leaned in for a gentle kiss. After a moment he pulled away and began going back to the house. " I'm going to finish unpacking. You can help, but I'm sure Devyn's already finished. Oh! By the way-" He turned to wink at Leon over his shoulder. " -you look sexy when you're scolding the kids~" He disappeared in a cloud of smoke. " Why do you think that everyone doesn't like you so much?" Aysun guffawed. " You were mean to me earlier but I don't want you to leave. Why do you keep thinking people want you to go away?"

Leon CourtThe kiss lingered just the right amount, Leon's eyes still closed when Nikolai pulled away. He smiled a little, eyes opening as his husband began to walk away. He blushed lightly at the compliment, mentally reminding himself to use that same expression later that night, then looked back to the boys before starting inside. He trusted them to work this out. " Because it's true!" He yelled, stomping his foot and turning away, arms crossed. He got really quiet, glaring at the ground angrily. " My parents barely even know me before throwing me away. They didn't need to.
They probably already knew I was going to be horrible."

Aysun hesitated then looked at the ground. " It doesn't mean you are horrible," he mumbled. " My brothers and sisters always made fun of me and called me names, and I dressed like a girl because they said I'd always get bullied. But ever since I started staying with Uncle Leon I haven't gotten bullied or had people be mean to me. I have a lot of friends and my own room. So even if your parents thought you were bad doesn't mean you are."

Leon CourtHe kicked the dirt a little, listening in silence. Stubborn as always, though, he glanced over his shoulder at the older boy. " You think I am, though. You just said earlier. You think I'm mean. I'm not mean, I'm just..." Being young, he couldn't find the right word, but it was awkward. Ray wasn't usually talked to by anyone but Reggie, who appreciated his blunt nature.

" Yeah, but that doesn't mean I want you to leave," Aysun retorted. " And just 'cause I think that doesn't mean everyone else does. A lot of people call Uncle Nikki mean but Uncle Leon still loves him."

Leon Court" Nuh-uh! How can anyone think Mr. Nikolai's mean? He's so nice!" asked the younger boy in amazement. " I guess you're right. I just don't wanna live somewhere I'm not wanted. I get enough of that at the orphanage."

Aysun's expression softened. He could understand where Ray was coming from, remembering very clearly his time with his siblings, how they treated him so badly. He moved over and sat down besides Ray. " Everyone wants you here, even me," he insisted. He smiled apologetically to the boy. " I'm sorry about earlier, honest. Umm, wanna play with some of the toys in my room?"

Leon CourtRay cautiously looked to his side as Aysun sat down, fists clenched just in case he needed to defend himself. Much to his surprise, he was invited to play. After a few seconds of silently determining if it were just a joke, he nodded slowly. " Sure. I didn't bring any of my own, though. Reggie and I had to leave all our toys at the orphanage."
