^ will prolly never hear aboiut plastic baby in real life
it's really annoying and you can't have other people watch it. because you have to scan it with a thing on your wrist... and you have to hold it's head because it's on a swivel...
the old ones you just had to stick a key in it's back, turn, and hold it....
riiight... really realistic......

> knows what ^^ is talking about. I haven't actually had to do the assignment (I never took child development in high school), but I have a couple of sisters who did. I remember once at about 3 AM the baby started "crying" and my sister had to find the right key to stick in its back to make it stop .. and she's nearly blind without her glasses on, and she just couldn't get it to work, so I had to go and help. It was frustrating. Real babies are a significant amount of work, but it's different .. OH so different. The lesson is (I guess) a more basic concept .. babies are time-consuming, complex, round the clock responsibility .. you just don't fall in love with a plastic doll.
