"Alright," Miyuki replied having gotten the hint that they were to use common elvish for the moment.
She picked up her baby brother and hoped he wouldn't cry on the way there because that wouldn't be fun for her. Then she looked up at the nice lady and said.
"Let's go, I bet you're tired and hungry, and the rain stopped so we can go visit Alena."
Miyuki did eat some of the waybread but she wanted to see if they could have anything else now that the rain stopped.

Andarien started chewing on the collar of Miyuki's top, grumping slightly but not yet crying.
Silently, Alassëa picked up her staff and held out her arm for her falcon. The bird jumped to her fist, then climbed up her arm to her shoulder, picking at her ear affectionately.
"Go," the woman murmured softly to Miyuki, nodding at her.

"Kay," Miyuki replied as she headed out into the damp environment.
As she stepped on the ground towards the tent Alena, Elros and Shiloh were staying in she could hear her shoes squish against the soft ground. Despite the icky-ness of that she took in a deep breath because wet dirt actually kind of smelled good.

Andarien shivered as they reached outside. With the end of the storm had come a difference in the air temperature, and it was much colder than it had been beforehand, despite the fact that it was now midday instead of early morning.
The storm had not done much damage, despite the wind. There were a few leaves strewn about, but beyond that everything was fine. The tents had been sufficiently secured, the wagon covers tied properly, and even the horses had had covers on them during the storm. They were all present, and were now grazing on the freshly wet grass.
Daeron, Emile, Luk, Halmir, Arthael, Kelirahc, Leyenda and Amalirahc were all checking over the supplies to make sure nothing had been damaged. The others were nowhere to be seen, though Aric and Leilani had a tent of their own, as did Elros and Alena. Celeb and Haldia were unaccounted for, however, though no one seemed to be taking notice of the fact.
Andarien was really hungry by this time, and he was chewing on Miyuki's collar, his sharp new teeth grinding little holes in it. He was whimpering at the same time, and shivering, and fidgeting, cold, hungry, and tired of being held.

MIyuki hurried to Alena's tent, mainly because she could tell that Andarien was making holes in her clothes and she didn't want holes in them yet. She tapped on the tent wall before asking if it was alright to come in.
It was only when Miyuki would be given the okay did she come into the tent, though she did try to kick off her shoes so she wouldn't track mud everywhere inside.

Shiloh was asleep on a small pile of blankets, and Elros had gone to sleep after having had the morning watch.
Alena smiled at Miyuki and motioned for her to come in. "Don't worry about Elros," she murmured. "He'll be fine. How is your father, Miyuki?"
Alassëa followed Miyuki silently, sitting down and putting her staff down next to her where she wouldn't be in the way.

"He's all better!" Miyuki replied brightly, "He's helping mommy dry her wings."
Even though it had been two hours since the storm had started and everything had been braced.
"But Andarien is hungry and I think he's chewing holes into my clothes."

"That does not bode well," Alena murmured, her expression anxious as she held her arms out to take Andarien from Miyuki. "If he has teeth ..."
She really didn't want to nurse him if that was the case. New teeth were very sharp, and if he was already biting holes in Miyuki's clothes, she wasn't looking forward to him trying to chew holes in her.
But at the moment, did they have much of a choice?

"Mommy already went to ask if he should start on solids, but I think she was told not yet, or maybe we don't have anything for that yet?"
Miyuki wasn't sure, she hadn't asked the specifics on it at all, but she handed her little brother to Alena anyways.

Alena took Andarien and rather than preparing to nurse him, she tilted his head back so that she could get a good look at his mouth. She brushed one finger lightly against his teeth (of which he had about half a mouthful), and right away she winced and shook her head.
"I can't feed him like this," she murmured. "We're going to have to find another way."
She held the boy in her arms and rocked him gently, trying to keep him calm now that he was really starting to fuss. She was thinking hard. He hadn't been fed since the day before, he must really be angry by now - but how could they feed him? And with what?
"Bring a flask from the wagon," she told Miyuki at long last. "Ask Arthael for some bread as well."
She would try feeding him some wet bread. She only hoped it would work.

"Okay!"
Miyuki dashed out of the tent, she knew a cranky baby when she saw one and her little brother could get really cranky when he was unhappy. The last thing she wanted was for him to cry again.
It was fortunate for her that Arthael was out with some of the others checking on the supplies. It made her easy to spot and easy to get to.
"Arthael! Alena needs a flask and bread for Andarien!" Miyuki exclaimed.

Arthael stared at Miyuki, then laughed.
"Of course!" she exclaimed as she searched through the supplies for the required items. "Why didn't I think of that when Lin asked me?"
Still chuckling, she handed over a flask full of water and half a loaf of bread to Miyuki. "Here. That should be more than enough."
Even for a growing boy.

"Thank you!"
Miyuki nodded, it did look like more than he would actually eat, if he ate it at all. With the two items in hand she hurried back, but not as fast as before. She didn't want to trip and ruin the food, not when it looked like her brother was going to cry.
The little girl ducked back into the tent with the two requested items.
"Here it is!" she held the items how to show Alena, "What do I do now?"

Alena had started bouncing Andarien on her knee. "I'll need a bowl as well," she said. "There's one in the top of my bag, just there." She nodded at the bag that was just beyond her reach, near Elros's head.
Andarien was really getting angry now, biting on his own hand - though he still hadn't started to cry.

Setting the first set of objects down carefully, with the bread balanced on top of the flash, Miyuki went for the bowl. She padded towards the bag and snatched the bowl hoping she wasn't waking Elros up at all.
As quietly as she could (which didn't seem that quiet to her) she came back with the bowl and set it down.
"I put the water in?"
