(pancake is fine. actually thats probably better...OKAY EVERYONE its pancake now :3
oh and yay! i guessed right. thats a really interesting way to spell it. rayne.. i'm gonna use that more often...)
Chuckles, shaking her new friend's hand. Mused, she tilts her head slighty looking at the tabby, "Hello alex!" she chided, unsure if the cat was in the mood to be cuddled. "Oh!" she stopped short, looking concerned. "That reminds me..." She trailed off, bent over and began unlocking her faded trunk. She opened it, revealing all sorts of interesting knick-knacks. Out of one of the discrete side pockets, she pulled out a sleeping peach-colored rat. It had no tail, stubby legs, a rounded face, and was probably the fattest rat anyone had ever laid eyes on. To most, the animal looked more like a hamster. Pancake cooed, cradling it in her arms. "This is Roger, my rat," she chirped, squinting her eyes in delight. "He's extremely lazy, but hey, yah gotta love 'em."
