Serenity knew that she was being chased, but it wouldn't be very long before they reached the shadow demons.

Ivy followed her comrades on foot, knowing that somethign was about to go wrong as she felt somethign really bad ahead of them, when she was only a few feet away from the shadows, she stopped and called out.
"All of you stop right now and reform, don't go any further."

The shadow demons could see the group, but when Ivy called out, they softly muffled growls and just waited, there were no eyes, but the shadows swayed a little.

Mazz took his normal shape, while Gabriel and Spearhead landed. The vampire sighed, even though he didn't need to, "Shadow monsters? This is going to be too easy."
The vampire took another shape... except it wasn't precisely a shape. It was more an animorphous blob of shadow that barely took the shape of an eight legged wolf.
"If any of them attack, I'll eat them. Even though it won't taste good and it'll make me a little sick. Unless anyone else has a better idea?"

D and Alucard followed suit after Mazz and returned to their normal forms. "Not entirely..." Alucard said. "So by all means, have at it." He said.
D didnt have much to say either, but if any of the Shadow monsters happened to slip by Mazz he would be there to cut them in two.
"Lets just find this sword, kill whomever took it and left the decoy. Then move on." Alucard said with an annoyed tone. And just when everything was starting to look up again.

The eight legged blob suddenly split down the middle, horizontally, from the sides. Enormous pointed teeth grew out. Now it looked like a walking animal mouth. It had two tongues... one on one jaw, the other on the other jaw. This metamorph was the weirdest he ever came up with.
That legged mouth started walking, licking up any shadow monsters that came within reach of the giant tongues.
Spearhead and Gabriel both stared at it in a WTF fashion.
"I'm creeped out."
"Me too!"

Low growls left what seemed to be dark lips from the shadow demons. As they looked at Maz, eyes appeared in all four corners of the area, watching Maz and the others for a minute, then the shadows started to move along the walls. Masking Maz and on their way to mask the others.

Ivy watched and then lifted up her right hand as flames engulfed it.
"If all they are are shadows, then it's light that will get us through them. But the question is. Have they really destroyed the otherside of the shadow wall?" Ivy pointed with her left index finger at the shadow demons to reveal to the others that on the other side of the demons, the room looked destroyed, the floor gone, the walls seeming like they were falling apart, everything looking so old and misused that nothing seemed like there was a chance of even getting to the sword at all.

Radu looked to Eve and nodded. He licked his wound and closed it up before helping the girl stand. "Well, we need to find the others. That may prove to be difficult since we were sent all over the place once more." He sighed and shook his head lightly.

November looked back to Veira. "I saw her right before we were all seperated again. She looked to be in bad shape. But I haven't seen Alucard's brother either so hopefully he is with her at the moment."

My my, things had certinly been happening while she was out of it. Luna moved around on all fours and began checking things out. She didn't much care for the look of the shadows and narrowed her eyes. The fur on her body stood up making her look like a black puffball as she hissed and snarled and spat like any normal feline.

"You can shapeshift into something like this if you wanted to... but it's an advanced way of thought."
The entire top jaw of the mouth was suddenly covered in eyes. The walking mouth-monster walked over the thin shadow-threads that made up the random holes in the room as easily as how a monkey travels through trees.
When it got to the end of the room, it turned around, "Okay, lamps please!"
Spearhead knew what it was talking about, and activated the pack's defense systems, portable sunlamps popping out of the back to face forward. The lamps unleashed their immense power in concentrated beams, directed at the open maw of the creature. The mouth-monster sucked up the beams, and redirected them out of it's many eyes, making a disco-ball effect. That chased away the shadows easily, as when the eyes moved, the beams they emitted did also.
Spearhead shut off the lamps, and the creature's eyes vanished one by one.
"All shadow threads have been destroyed! It's safe to cross."

Eve nodded at Radu and started thinking about ways that they could try to find the other's in this maze of a castle. It seemed that there was only one way to go about it though.
"I suppose we should just start walking." Eve said as though she were still thinking.
For a moment her thoughts turned to her sister who she hadn't seen since they came in here. Then she shook it off. Veira was strong. She would be okay.

Veira heard that Eve looked to be in bad shape and she growled.
"That girl was always so good at getting herself hurt or in trouble. It's like she is a magnet for it. I hope your right that Radu is with her though." Veira said.
After all he knew her plan and she knew he wouldn't let her die as long as her revenge was incomplete.

"Hnnn..." Was Alucards only response to what Mazzaker had said. Once the way was clear and safe to cross. Alucard joined Mazz's side, his arms crossed behind his back as they continued on.

D followed suite, his blue eyes were distant, somewhere he was lost in his own thoughts. Would Dag come back? What would he do when The half demon did show his face again? Would they all meet up again? Who had taken the sword and just what were they capable of? Would they be able to acquire the sword? Would they be able to defeat bloodstorm and the preson behind him? When would the nightmare end....?

Spearhead followed, folding up the portable sunlamps. Mazzaker unshifted to his regular form. He stumbled forward, disorientated by the sudden light show he and Spearhead put on. Mazzaker himself practically fell into the next room, which didn't seem at all stable. Chunks of this room were broken up over a black void, much like the room where the sword was placed. The door was floating on the other side.
Gravity was out of place here, so flying could be deadly.
"Hm... a dimensional room. We'll have to cross using the chunks of rubble provided to us. Gravity itself isn't stable here."
Mazzaker pulled himself up from grabbing the lip of the platform edge, "Oh, NOW he tells us!"

"Better late than never." Alucard said as he offered a hand to Mazz to help him up. 'Come on puff ball we arent out of the woods yet." Alucard said with a chuckle as he helped the male up, almost loosing his own balance in the process.
"Well just take things one step at a time." Alucard said as he slowly started forward.

"Easier said than done." The parasite from Ds hand spoke up, for the first time in ages. Or at least it felt that way.
D stood at the edge of a chunk of the room. His blue eyes watched the dark void beneath them for a bit. Snapping back to attention after awhile D leapt forward, the only way to get to the next chunk of room infront of him.
When he did though the gravity horribly switched and sent him flying high into the air. A split second later, and a foot or two infront of him, on another piece of floor, D landed right on his a** with a thud. The gravity had shifted from very light to very heavy within a short distance, not fun.
'Yeah no s**t..." D growled as he got up slowly, the gravity in this spot weighed him down a bit.

Radu looked to Eve and nodded. "It cannot hurt us. Besides, I'll be here to protect you." He turned and walked alongside her as the two searched for a way towards the others. It was going to be difficult though, and he knew it.

November looked to Veira and nodded. "I'm sure she'll be alright. For now, we should just be focused on finding the others. I just wish I knew which direction everyone was at. Heck, just finding Dracula last time was a pain in the rear end. I can't seem to get in touch with him here either."

Luna's ears perked up as she looked around the room. The small feline moved and dashed across the floor before leaping from rock to rock as she headed for the door. Atleast she was able to do this much. She soon reached the other end and sat by the door, licking her fur until the others reached that point.
