Sakuharu got into his mini-ship and started it up. Once the ship lifted itself off the ground and he began flying his way to the Great Halen. He saw the Nerd and Zelly walking to their ship and he just shook his head. He began picking up his speed, wanting to get back to the ship as fast as possible.

"So, Mr. Depression can still crack a joke i see..." Zelly said just folding her arms after they got out of the ship, not making any motion to take the revolver. "Im not taking it Nerd..." she said calmly as she reached into her bag with one hand and produced the Assist Trophy of her raptor form. "If anything, you're walking out of here with this...If you insist on going back to whatever regular lifestyle you had, and those assassins are still out there, you're the one that'll need the back up..."

"I don't care, you're taking it anyway!" Zelly said forcing the trophy into Nerd's hands. "I think...it'd be happier with you..." she said looking down at her feet in a sheepish manner. "When i was still that...thing, with no memory of myself whatsoever...I...God, i feel really stupid saying this but...I still remember that you helped me feel like i wasn't a freak despite the whole reptile thing...v///v " she said keeping her eyes on her feet and her cheeks starting to turn red from the confession.

Zelly gave an exasperated sigh. "What did i miss?" she said putting her hands firmly on her hips. "So Scope's your ex-captain, big, fat, hairy deal! What the hell has got you so damn depressed that you're planning on leaving the merc's?!" Nerd was starting to get on her nerves, and she was this close to beating some sense into him.

Vash stepped in to a large yard, undecorated, but still finely trimmed. The gate creaked closed behind him. Lights wew on in the house. Vash went up and knocked on the door. There were voice inside, and then the door opened in front of him.
A cat woman, slightly shorter than Vash, with fur greying around the eyes, ears, and other facial parts. Her other fur was still golden, but lacked the shine and softness of Vash's fur. She gasped, and stared at Vash.
"V-v-vash? Is that you? Oh my god!" She squeaked out. She reached out and embraced Vash.
"Yes, Mother. It's me." Vash said, returning the embrace
