Kasiya glanced over at the two Eeveelutions and laughed. The two of them certainly were adorable together and she didn't want to interrupt their playtime, since it was a rare thing for the two of them to see each other. She watched Kilik go through his PokeDex, wondering just what it was that he was looking for. He seemed to have an opponent for Ada in mind, however, and Kasiya's eyes went wide when the Great Ball was thrown. The Aggron was quite a sight to behold, and Kasiya laughed again, finally able to visualize the creature Kilik had spoken of earlier. "So that's an Aggron!" she chuckled, shaking her head as she took out her own PokeDex.

"Aggron, the Iron Armor Pokemon. Aggron claims an entire mountain as its territory, which it is surprisingly protective of. Not only will it mercilessly attack any creature which invades its territory, but if ravaged by fires or landslides it will haul topsoil and replant trees in order to restore the beauty to its homeland. An Aggron's horns grow longer little by little, and can be used to determine the Pokemon's age. The scars it bears on its iron armor are worn with pride as mementos from battle."

"Hmm, very cool," Kasiya murmured, flipping the device shut and putting it back in her bag. Her scar began to itch a little but she managed to fight off the urge to scratch it as she reached for Adamantine's Pokeball. "Okay Ada, I know you can do this, baby! Show me what you're made of!" The last words were uttered with gusto before the sphere was flung forward, and the Larvitar materialized in the sand in front of her trainer, wearing an incredibly sour expression. The size difference was quite impressive, though Ada stood taller than most Larvitar did. She looked up at the hulking steel beast and scoffed, very obviously not afraid of it. I hope Kilik can control that thing, Kasiya thought anxiously, looking from the Larvitar to the Aggron and back again.

Flannery watched the little Magby deliver his attack and she smiled. The little guy had come a long way in a short time, and she was certain that it wouldn't be long until he became a Magmar. She also couldn't help but guess that Mike didn't approve of her choice of Pokemon, but what could she do? She'd brought her strongest Pokemon with her today, and it wasn't her fault that they'd been challenged by such a weak pair of trainers. She was snapped back to reality by the Whismur's terrible screeching, and she quickly slammed her hands over her ears. "Ugh, I HATE that Pokemon," she muttered, having also seen a few of the Whismur evolution line in her day. "Houndoom, uh... give 'em a Leer," she murmured, sighing heavily. Houndoom's tail flicked in annoyance at such a lame command as well as the sound coming from the little pink hellion, but he did as told, narrowing his eyes and shooting an icy glare at the Mawile.

The Mawile appeared to be bothered by its teammate's screeching as much as anyone else in the area, and it took the Leer attack head on. "Try to shake it off, Mawile, and then give that Houndoom a Poison Fang attack!" A hint of malice flashed in the Mawile's eyes before it was off and running, moving a lot faster than one would think it could. With a sharp growl, the Mawile lashed forward, the larger mouth gaping open, poison leaking from between the rows of sharp fangs before it clamped shut on Houndoom's leg with a sickening snap. Houndoom let out a howl of pain - had he underestimated this little shrimp? The Mawile loosened its grip on his leg and Houndoom limped backwards, suddenly feeling a little sick to his stomach. He wasn't going to let it bother him though, and he put on his game face and snarled viciously at the Mawile. It was on!

Ann just smiled as she tore off bits of her fluffy pink candy, savouring the sugary rush she got with each bite. It was rare for her to treat herself like this, but she figured today was a special occasion. The two of them had started walking again, though Ann highly suspected that Ampersand would attempt to steal some of her cotton candy when he thought she wasn't looking - just like when they had been kids. "It is nice to see you again, Ampersand," she said. "...I've really missed you," she added quickly, though she almost instantly regretted saying it. A rare blush was momentarily visible on her pale cheeks and she quickly turned her head and stuffed more cotton candy into her mouth.

She forced herself to continue walking, pretending to be paying attention to a battle between two young girls. One of them had sent out what appeared to be a Surskit while the other was commanding a Skitty to use a Tackle attack. Ann smiled wistfully at them, amazed at just how fast time was passing. Before long they came upon a small shack which appeared to be a small beach-side restaurant of sorts. It seemed to be doing pretty decent business today, what with the steady stream of people walking in and out of it. The smells coming from that area were delicious as well. It was then that Ann's gaze came to rest upon a brunette wearing an absurdly pink swimsuit sitting on a bench, an Espeon in close proximity. A guy was sitting next to her and the two were chatting to themselves, their demeanor giving away the fact that they were upset about something. Ann eyed the Espeon for a moment or two before turning to the girl that owned it. "Lovely Espeon," she said, nodding. "Her coat is gorgeous." She cast a glance back to Ampersand, warning him to keep his distance - they didn't need Pokemon just dropping to the ground, sound asleep, for no apparent reason.

Mai looked up as two different people approached them, and she smiled at the comment. "Thanks," she muttered, adjusting her sunglasses for no apparent reason. No other words came to mind as she studied the man who was traveling with the woman who'd complimented her, and for a split second she frowned. It was that curious fellow from the other day who'd shown up at the base in Viridian - Ampersand, was it? 'Cammy' studied him for a moment or two longer before flashing a smile. He was just as good-looking as she remembered him to be, though she couldn't quite remember what he'd been there for in the first place. "You two traveling together?" she asked lazily. Leo only leaned back in his seat, casually taking in Ann's appearance, though he chose to say nothing.

Through the ice Metang could see the Lombre charging at him, and he closed his eyes and braced for impact. The Lombre's claws landed with a solid hit and Metang felt more of the ice knocked away from his body. He was still too frozen to move, and he continued to swipe at the ice that was encasing the rest of his body, working quickly until his other arm was free. It wouldn't be long now, and he would take his revenge on the strange Lombre.

Purple Sparkly, on the other hand, seemed to be loosing faith in the fight as nothing he could think of was working against the insanely speedy Yanma. He did know, however, that Detect rarely worked in succession so he did the only thing he could think of. "Go, my little Nuzleaf, and use your Pound attack again!" The Nuzleaf was starting to look tired, but that didn't mean that he was going to give up so easily, and he dashed forward, leaping up and preparing to slam his fists into Razputin again.

Just like Ann had predicted Ampersand managed to grab a small amount of the sugary fluff and stuff it in his mouth before Ann wondered off to look at some girls Espeon, well that's what she said it was. Blue eyes watched from under his hat with mild curiosity. He stayed back wanting to keep his aura away from the other pokemon, it was a bit hard here though with so many pokemon wondering around. Glancing around he grinned slightly as he saw the circle around with pokemon in various states of sleepiness. One of the trainers was trying to wake their pokemon up and Ampersand just watched in amusement. He was brought back to attention when the girl who seemed kinda if not really familiar asked a question. "Nah, were just a couple of friends who met up after a long time apart." He grinned slightly as he took a few steps forward and snatched a small bit more of the pink fluff from Ann before taking a few more steps back in order to stop the pokemon from sleeping to much.

~~~~~~~~~~~
"Hahaha! Your just a frozen popsicle! Use your Absorb Lombre!" Green Sparkle was much more into the battle and let out a loud laugh. He watched as Lombre let out a laugh as well and put two 'hands' on Metangs frozen body and began absorbing the energy.
Raz meanwhile was caught off guard and was painfully slammed down into the ground. Picking up his small body Raz sent an annoyed look at the Nuzleaf, that wasn't fair! He was in the middle of his dance! "Raz lets show them your Quick Attack again!" Raz liked the sound of a little payback and getting back into the air he zoomed forward becoming a little red blur. Seeing this Robin giggled slightly. "Haha Raz is using his speedforce." Ok so yeah she was a bit of a nerd.
A moment of silence swept through their limited area of battle space despite the vivacity of the surrounding beach scene. The Smeargle remained in his fighting pose while Ulani waited for him to make a move; it was M.A. first who realized the reality situation.
"I think he fell asleep," she pointed out, not fooled by the Pokemon's half-opened eyes; he was snoring.
Ulani huffed, her little puff-ball shape enlarged by her indignation. Why, the nerve of this fellow! First he paints a god-awful portrait of yours truly; then, he decides TORA, of all the gluttonous Pokemon of the world, as a better subject than yours truly; and NOW, he falls asleep in the midst of his own challenge! What, was he underestimating her? Well, she'd show that sloppy jerk a lesson or two! With that, unbidden by her cheerily unconcerned trainer, Ulani shot towards the Smeargle, killing intent in her eyes.
Meanwhile, said cheery trainer mused that Ulani never got this riled up in a battle; much less, she never started one out with a Take Down right off the battle. She must really want him on the team, M.A. thought to herself, missing the mark entirely and blithely. What great chemistry they already have, she added, watching -- through rose-colored spectacles -- the Smeargle's astonished, less than graceful tumble as the blue bullet made contact right-on. The Smeargle, shaking off his drowsiness, drew himself some wings before Ulani could swing around and pound him again. And so the chase continued in the air, the Smeargle flying rapidly with his dripping bat-like wings, Ulani speeding after him, squawking. It didn't take a Pokemon linguist to figure that she was spouting less than pleasant insults and the like.
I see the beginning of a great relationship, both Sae and M.A. thought to themselves simultaneously, though it was clear that one was being sarcastic and the other was quite sincere in her misconceptions.
"Aww, Lucario, you ratted me out. I thought we had something special," Jun said sorrowfully, shaking his head.
"You desert us these last two years then expect some loyalty?" Maylene, his darling pink-haired sister, snapped. "And what the hell is this?" she said, voice growing louder by the second, as she waved his innocuous little check in the air before stomping it down by use of an overly flexible leg. "You PRETENDED to be a medical insurance company? What, you think we need your pity?"
"No..." Jun trailed nervously, looking more and more like a caged animal by the second. When had Maylene grown a chest temper? He remembered the little girl who used to come crying to him, whose hair he used to braid, who didn't know what a period was. The young, furious lady before him was a little disorienting. Then again, he supposed she did have a reason to be angry since he did sorta ditch the fambam, but he had his reasons. He wanted to pursue his dreams, and they didn't include blood and sweat. Though he hadn't gone very far, since for a long while now the economy hadn't been at it's greatest and the dojo had been sluggish at best. On top of that, their father's smoking habits had gotten to him, and he frequented hospitals more often now. And the Gambling Corner.
Without warning (well, Kanna managed a half a syllable of a shout), Jun found a nimble foot flying at his face, and with a little surprise he deftly deflected it with the back of a hand. A second foot came after the first, and Jun instinctively ducked, reaching out to catch the girl who, after expending two of her feet, didn't have much to land on except her butt. Alright, he saved the sister, fantasmic. What he didn't expect, however, was the red-hot slap across his face and the girl struggling out of his arms. "You always win, damnit," she hissed, but Jun could hear a hiccup in there.
"Aww, I missed you too," he said, patting her hair. She didn't fit very well in his arms anymore, and since he didn't exactly do much heavy exercise, his arms eventually gave out and let the girl down. "What a slap, though! Christ almighty, girl, that hurt. I feel bad for the bloke who breaks up with you, I really do."
"Shut up. You should have visited more often," she accused, looking the other way. But not as angry. 'Cause Jun was still her brother and all that, even if his hair kinda looked like rooster and he was a pretty boy.
"Jun," an older, stern voice interrupted. The young man froze, spinning slowly on his heel to face the unforgiving eyes of his childhood sparring partner, Lucario, whom he hadn't even really trained with for the last several years, and the stone-like face of his father.
"Is this why you've been lounging under your cousin's roof lately, free-loading off her graces? Don't even start with the excuses, I know you aren't training under her."
Jun couldn't say a word against his father. Initially, he had run away simply because he couldn't object the honorable man in his face. Run away like a coward.
"Wasting your youth away. What a shame to the Yee name."
Jun awaited the next words. I disown you, abandon the Yee name. No Yee, from this illustrious dojo, would become a male beautician, of all things. Shave your head, unsubscribe to your fashion magazines. Take your place as the next heir already. Take down the CIA as training.
"Come back and take over the family business, idiot son."
For the first time in his life, Jun clearly rejected his father in his face. "No can do."
"Ah, well, your determination's good and well enough. Fine, do as you please. About time you stood up for yourself; how would you become the best at whatever it is that you do -- hair-twirling, or whatever? -- if you aren't strong enough for it?"
Jun was befuddled. He had the feeling his life was a lie.
"Stop worrying about my hospital bills," the man scoffed. "Maylene and I can handle ourselves. Plus the regions opening up soon. However... I cannot allow you to keep the Yee family name , for the sake of the dojo's reputation."
"I thought as much."
"Regardless... no matter the rose's taste, you will always be my son."
"I think it's, 'A rose by any other name is just as sweet.'"
"Idiot son."
"Gambling old fool." Jun was surprised by his own audacity. But he felt like the confines of his dreams had been thrown asunder, and now he could soar for the skies.
The old man chuckled. "Come, let's have some supper."
Kilik crossed his arms over his chest and looked at the Larvitar. She was certainly bigger than normal, and actually almost the size of her next evolutionary stage. At least, from what he could gather. The books he read on Johto stated Larvitar were rather scarce due to neglectful care of the mountain regions. Though he knew this particular Pokemon was hatched - he was there when it happened, after all.
Aggron wanted so badly to whip around and crush his trainer into nothing. What was this, a joke? He was easily at least five feet taller than his opponent! The dinosaur swished his massive, rocky tail and waited for his command. "Alright, let's see your Metal Claw!" the boy called. He'd been waiting to check out just what each move could do, how he did it, and how much stronger it had become thanks to evolving. His hands tensed on his arms. Hopefully it wasn't going to do too much to little Ada.
Cable poked his head out over Kilik's shoulder, seeing Aggron from behind. Goodness, he was massive! How in the world was that little green thing on the other side supposed to win? How was anything supposed to beat something that big!? Elekid looked on in wonder at just how awesome his Lairon-friend became. It got him very excited for his own eventual evolution. The beast took a step forward, his claws already beginning to shine. With a mighty roar and another stomp ahead, Aggron swung his claws inwards towards each other, as if clapping, to make sure that little Larvitar had no where to run.
Training session or not, this was his battle and he wasn't going to lose.
Ann was certain she saw the Espeon falter a bit as Ampersand came a bit closer and yoinked (another fairly large piece, at that) of her cotton candy. She glanced back at her friend and gave him a scolding, yet playful smile. A part of her had always felt kind of bad for him, since due to his strange ability he never really had been able to get close to Pokemon before, and as such he never had the chance to become a trainer or anything like that. He seemed to be doing well enough for himself though, and she knew he would get angry at her if he knew she was feeling pity for him. She took another glance at the Espeon and its trainer. "Yep, we just figured a party like this would be a good place to meet up again," she said, adding to Amp's response to the girl's question. The guy also sitting on the bench was fairly good-looking as well, though he was fairly quiet.
"I see," 'Cammy' answered, lifting the edge of her glasses, trying to get a better look at Ampersand as he temporarily came closer to take some of the girl's candy. "There seems to be a lot of that going around today." She didn't know why but she was getting the feeling that these two were more than met the eye, and she continued to wrack her brains to try and remember more about Ampersand. She'd been escorting him to her boss' office, but after that she couldn't remember... She closed her eyes and frowned. Of course, it had been then when that strange phenomenon had occurred again and she'd changed places with her sister. As helpful as that whole body-swap thing can be, it also can be a bit of a nuisance, she thought, with a glance to her watch. The afternoon was drawing on and soon it would be time for the Rockets to rendezvous and begin the first stages of their plan. "Say Bryan, it's about that time," Mai said, standing up and recalling Serenity, who had sensed the overwhelming drowsiness take her when the strange man in the hat had came too close, and she'd taken extra care to keep her distance from him. "It's been nice chitchatting with you two, but we've got to be on our way. Catch ya later," she said, dismissing them with a wave. Leo grabbed the two bags and followed after Mai, narrowing his eyes at both Ann and Ampersand before the two began to walk away.
Metang narrowed his eyes as he felt some of his health begin to vanish through the hands of the Lombre, and once again he flailed his arms around wildly. He could feel his energy getting dangerously low, and with a final swing of his right arm the remaining ice was broken free. Metang shoved the Lombre off of him and shot up into the air, glad to be able to hover again. He felt weaker but he already knew how to counter that. The Steel/Psychic's body began to glow with a healthy greenish aura as the Sitrus Berry Jaeshan had given him kicked in, restoring Metang's energy and making him feel quite renewed. Jaeshan pumped a fist into the air and grinned. "All right Metang, let's show them just how tough you are! Give 'em another Brick Break!" Metang was more than ready to oblige, and he rushed forward again, raising his hands in the air and preparing to strike down the Lombre.
The Nuzleaf had nowhere to go as Raz's attack was far too fast to avoid. The Wily Pokemon staggered to its feet before it released another Razor Leaf on Purple Sparkly's command. "Oh, things are looking dire~!" he cried out in a silly singsong voice. The leaves split up evenly again, targeting both Luffy and Metang at the same time.
"Leer?" he snickered, amused at Flannery's unwilling restraint. "I thought we were teaching them a lesson?" Mike thought for a moment of just the right move for the situation. Should he take advantage of the types and go for a Brick Break? Or perhaps a slow agonizing loss with Confuse Ray? One thing was for sure, if he had to listen to any more of this wailing, he'd go over and beat it up himself. Perhaps a simple, proven and effective method would work, one that was sure to make a big impression on their opponents. "Hee hee, watch this." he said with a sinister grin. "Napalm!" shouted the boy, tired of having to compete with that blasted Whismur whenever he spoke. "Let's hit 'em with an Overheat!"
With pleasure, thought the Magby. The sooner he shut this pink little crybaby up, the better. His claws still in his ears, Napalm took in a deep breath, drawing all the heat from the surrounding area. Mike felt a chill run up his spine as it suddenly got cold. Fueled by the warm sun and the determination to silence that annoying Whismur, Napalm gave a powerful shout, expelling a giant fireball to the wailing Pokemon. It rolled on the ground with impressive speed, charring the sand as it raced towards its target.
"Whismur, look out!" Sherry cried, pointing at the oncoming attack. Unfortunately for her Pokemon, it didn't hear her warning until it was too late. It stopped crying to look at what all the commotion was, only to witness a mass of fire traveling his way. Still on his back from Napalm's previous Psychic, the Whismur had no where to go. The Overheat crashed into the little Pokemon, the Whismur's screams of agony eclipsed by Mike's roaring high pitched laughter.
"Ha ha ha ha ha!! Beautiful!" he screamed.
Train wandered aimlessly around the beach, boredly watching the multiple battles going on, and glancing down every few minutes to make sure Pikachu was still padding along next to her, always afraid that he'd end up getting lost in the crowd somehow, what with so many people and Pokemon gathered on the beach and all, it wouldn't be hard to lose one's own Pokemon amidst it all.
Finally, the girl remembered that she had a beach chair somewhere, and should probably be going back to make sure her towel was still there. Seeing as how that was all she'd actually left behind that awsn't in the lockers. Speaking of which, where were the lockers? The teen glanced around and suddenly realized she didn't really recognize anything--and if there WAS anything she would have recognized, it was probably blocked by a mob of people, anyway. She began searching for the lockers, now wandering with an actual destination. Even if she didn't actually have any idea where sed destination was particularly located.
Suddenly the feeling of being watched stopped and Aidan felt his muscles relax somewhat. He hadn't realized that it had been stressing him out so much, he was usually pretty good with these kinds of things. Leaving the ranch making sure that Nurse Joy knew that he was going to head back to the center. That taken care of he walked down the streets, it was getting fairly dark and he walked through the lantern lit streets at a brisk pace not wanting to spend to much time out in the cold, also it was getting time to start putting some of the kids to sleep. When he reached the front doors of the pokemon center Aidan heard a small crash to the side of the building. Pausing he looked to the side before spotting the fact that the bike rack had fallen to the ground. Sighing slightly Aidan watched his breath puff up in front of him before going over and started picking up the bikes. It was kind of odd. the bikes didn't fall over to much and they all were usually securely in place. Picking up the last bike, his own Mach Bike, he secured it in place making sure that it wouldn't fall again.
By chance Aidan looked up from the task he was doing only to end up face to face with a skull with a glowing red eye that was staring at him intently. Now Aidan wasn't the most easily frightened person in the world but this did freak him out just a bit. There was a face sticking out of the wall, it was also watching him. The two stared at each other for a few seconds Aidan not sure how to react exactly and the skull... thing seemed pretty interested in the blond scared boy.
Soon it seemed like both of them snapped out of it and the skull floated further out of the wall facing him the whole time before it started to float down the street. Aidan stared for a moment before he frowned slightly and pulled the bike out that he had just put away and got on it before taking off after the flying skull. This might have been the thing that was watching him and maybe pulled those pranks. So both of them left the town Aidan chasing it on his bike and the floating skull leading the way to somewhere.
~~~~~~~~~~

Ampersand watched them leave with mild interest before shrugging slightly and going back to where Ann was standing all the while picking off pieces of her cotton candy. "You make a new friend?" He asked his eyes still on the retreating backs before glancing over at his partners. "It would be nice to have friends in a different region don't you think?" He stuck some of the pink fluff in his mouth before shrugging slightly. "Eh, you don't have to listen to me. I don't have a lot of friends, just people I work with." He didn't sound to depressed about that, he knew what he was getting into and hey as much as he complained about his job he still liked it.

~~~~~~~~~
"Oh no its free again! Lombre! Try to use your Nature Power again!" Green cried the sparkles coming off of even more now. The Lombre tried to take a few steps back but he didn't get much of a chance. With his leg hurting like it did and the Metang so close there was no escape. With a solid clang the Brick Break hit him right on top of his head. The Lombre fell right down into the ground clearly unconscious. "Oh no Lombre! I leave this to you darling! That mean ol' Metang just beat my wonderful Lombre!" Green cried as the pokemon was recalled before wrapping arms around Purple.
"All right Raz! We can't be shown up try to take the route of the least amount of damage and hit that Nuzleaf one last time with your Quick Attack!" Robin ordered, she wished she could dramatically point her finger but Luffy was in her arms. Raz didn't need to be told twice, glowing again as his speed was raised he speed forward feeling a few leaves slice his body but ignored it.
"Thanks," Mitsu said before placing an incredibly large order of fries, orange soda, and a strawberry ice cream. Oddly enough she wasn't craving much else and happily took her order and followed Keegan to a bench after kindly thanking the vendor. Business first, Mitsu threw out Ivy's Pokeball, the blue-green leafy dinosaur materalizing before her eyes. The Ivysaur looked up at his trainer and gave Mitsu a slightly annoyed look. "I know, I know. I'm very sorry about that last battle," Mitsu said before patting the Pokemon's head. "I promise to do better next time." She handed him the cone which the gladly accepted using his olive green vines as hands. "Saur!" he cried in approval, hardly staying angry with his trainer for more than a few seconds. If anyone knew how eratic Mitsu could be it was Ivy, and he was much more willing to put up with her, as Karri had put it, insanity than Karri herself.
"An Aggron already?" Mitsu commented, "He was just a Lairon yesterday!" She definately was impressed with his newly evolved Steel-type. Both Kilik and Kasiya were excellent Pokemon trainers and somehow it only made her feel a bit uneasy and inferior. Her head throbbed a bit at the thought. "Thi should be some battle. They're both such good trainers," she commented, her tone a bit dejected. It almost seemed that no matter how hard she tried she just couldn't get to that level. She even had quite a few badges to prove her worth, but that didn't even seem to be enough for her. She shook her head a bit before placing a couple of fries into her mouth, chewed, and washed it down with a large gulp of orange soda. The food was definately good, and she hoped the battle would be as well.
Sere was making her way up to the pokecentre with her two pokemon, now fully drained from fighting each other, when she stumbled on a tree root or something. She grumbled to herself then got back up. This was not exactly how she had planned on spending her day. Alone, her two pokemon getting into a war of who was better, and now scratching her knee. 'At least it can only get better from here.' She thought. Instantly her brain reminded her that that wasn't quite true. She never knew what was going to happen, after all this was a fairly popular event, and there was so many people here. She was surprised that everyone was as friendly as they were. Then again Alex would say that she just doesn't trust people altogether, and while her sister was for the most part right, that didn't make Sere's suspicions that a lot of people would like to cause trouble.
Serenity watched enough of the news broadcasts to know that there were people out in the region that wanted to steal pokemon for their own uses. She couldn't understand why on earth they wouldn't just go catch and train their own, other than a desire to cause trouble. Suddenly there was a bit of fear in the pit of her stomach. She really hoped that no one would try to steal George or Oddish. Sure they were fairly common types of pokemon, but they were special enough to her and it would break her heart.
As she neared the pokecentre she caught a glimpse of Kasiya once again setting up to battle. 'Wow is she popular today.' Serenity had hoped she'd be able to catch up with her once again today, and considered sitting outside and watching insted of getting her pokemon healthy right away. Would it do them much harm for them to wait after being so competative with eachother? Sere sighed and headed into the centre, reminding herself that they needed food too, as did she.
Serenity handed the two pokeballs over to the nurse behind the counter, and told the nice nurse that she would just be taking a shower to get the sand out of her hair while she waited for the two of them to get better.
Even though it was so warm outside Serenity found herself enjoying the hot shower. It was giving her time to think, about everything that had happened in the last few days. She found that she was increadably disapointed with herself. She came from a long line of trainers that had so many badges, and she couldn't even get her two pokemon to not try and kill each other. Sere wished she could get on the fairy right now and head over to that new region. At least then she wouldn't have to worry too much about coming across someone that knew her family. The tears started to fall. If only she weren't so damn shy, then she could start battles with other trainers and get better. As it was right now she kept avoiding everyone that looked as though they wanted to battle.
Sere stepped out of the shower and dried herself off. She put her long blond hair into two long braids wet, insted of drying. The wet hair would help to keep her cool out in the sun, for a little while anyway. Sere looked at herself in the mirror to see if there were any obvious signs that she had been crying and was relieved that there was none, although she did find that she looked rather sad.
She headed back to the counter and retrieved her now healed pokemon, thanking the nice nurse as she took the two balls. She headed back outside and released the two of them. Once the Oddish and the Mudkip saw eachother the immeadiately turned away from eachother and pouted.
"Oh, I am not dealing with this kind of attitude anymore. You two are on the same team. Now make up, other wise this is going to be a really long journey." She said, her voice angry.
The two pokemon looked up at thier trainer, surprised that such tone would come from the normally meek girl, then turned to eachother. Sere saw them give a formal nod to eachother then looked back at here.
"Well it's a start. Now what do you say we head over to that picnic area and have some food?" She led them over to a group of picnic tables and sat down. George and Raddish followed close behind.
Something in the back of her mind was telling her to look behind her, and deciding to obey her instincts, Kasiya turned on her heel slightly and glanced over her shoulder. A smile quickly filled her face as she spotted that familiar redhead sitting on a bench some distance away, mowing down on his lunch (there was no other word to describe it, really). She was a bit surprised to see Mitsu sitting beside him - the two seemed to be enjoying a late lunch. She furrowed her brow a bit, then catching sight of the girl from earlier heading into the Pokemon Center. Serenity, she thought, turning back to the battle as she heard Kilik give his first command. She had to admit, it was a trifle frightening, watching a monster like that coming towards her Pokemon.
Adamantine, however, still showed no signs of fear even as Aggron approached her, claws shining. The cocky little Larvitar simply smirked before she rushed forward, tumbling between the Aggron's massive legs. She felt those powerful claws brush against her rocky hide and she grit her teeth, knowing it could have been a lot worse if she'd just stood there and taken the hit. "Now Ada!" Kasiya cried, thrusting a hand forward. "Smash his tail with a Brick Break!" Ada gave an affirmative nod as she got up to her feet. Both of her rocky fists began to glow with power as she brought them down onto Aggron's appendage. Well, at least she's listening to me so far, Kasiya thought, hoping that the Larvitar would continue this trend as the battle continued. The last thing she needed was to have Kilik think that she couldn't control her Pokemon.
Flannery took a slight step back as Napalm launched his Overheat, feeling a little bad for the Whismur as it was roasted on the spot. Okay, I know that you want to make Napalm stronger, Mike, but was that kind of a move really necessary? she thought, frowning. The poor Pokemon's squeals of pain were actually difficult to listen to, and she couldn't help but notice the horrified looks on the faces of the young couple. However, Overheat was her trademark move and it was nice to see a young Pokemon like Napalm
With a snort Houndoom pawed at the ground anxiously, feeling the very flames inside him burning and churning with the will to win. Sensing her Pokemon's anxiety, Flannery sighed and closed her eyes, thinking about how Houndoom could show them how Overheat was really done, but decided against it. It wouldn't be a very nice thing to do, and as hotly competitive as she was, she'd only just righted things with Mike and didn't need a reason to start another fight. "Flamethrower," she said finally, her voice low, yet firm. As much as she knew it would be overkill, she no longer wanted to be battling. Houndoom took a step forward, throwing back his head as the fires built up inside of him. The canine took a deep breath before expelling the powerful energy, blanketing the poor Mawile with a torrent of flames. Having nowhere to go the poor Steel-type took the attack head on, its body covered in blackened patches by the time the flames died down.
The boy simply stared at the two Fire Pokemon with a mixture of awe and horror as he recalled his Mawile, already backing away from Mike and Flannery. "You two... are insane!" he shouted, glancing once at Sherry before he turned tail and fled. Flannery only huffed and crossed her arms. Yep, she'd been called insane twice in the span of less than an hour. Without even looking at Sherry she recalled Houndoom and walked back over towards her beach towel, deciding that if by some chance the Whismur was still standing, Mike would take care of it.
"Oh no you don't!" Purple Sparkly shouted, both upset that his partner's Lombre had been defeated and that things were looking bad for his Nuzleaf. Even though Green Sparkly was clinging to him he didn't let up with his commands. "Give that bug one last Razor Leaf! Show them what true beauty truly is!" Clearly exhausted, the Nuzleaf nodded before sending off another barrage of leaves, this time the majority of them heading for Razputin.
Jaeshan, still reeling from the redundancy of Purple Sparkly's last statement, quickly looked to Metang. "Protect Raz, Metang!" he shouted. Metang, who was now lazing about in the sand after his solid victory over the Lombre, looked towards his teammate and raised a clawed hand, the curious aura of psychic energy flaring out and engulfing the leaves that were heading towards the Yanma. With a flick of a finger the leaves were forced downwards and they slammed into the sand creating a dusty cloud. Raz's last attack was more than enough to finish the Nuzleaf though, and as the speedy Yanma collided with him he was sent spiraling backwards, very much unconscious by the time he hit the sand.
"Oh, noooooooo!" Purple Sparkly cried, raising his hands to the skies as he sank to his knees. "We were defeated!" Through fairly obvious fake tears the Nuzleaf was recalled, the two very sparkly people now clinging to each other on the ground and crying their eyes out.
"....Okay," Jaeshan said, unable to do anything but blink slowly.
Ann shrugged her shoulders, handing the paper cone that held the remainder of the cotton candy to Ampersand. As good as it was, the sugar was starting to turn her stomach, though she was certain it was more than just an overload of sweets. "I don't know, but there was just something about those to," she said, almost more to herself than to her traveling companion. "That girl rubs me the wrong way, and I didn't like the way her boyfriend was looking at me." She shivered a bit despite the warm sunshine on her shoulders and she looked back at her friend once again. The expression she wore was a worried one, and it was comforting to know that she didn't have to say anything yet Amp would still know what she was thinking and feeling. "I just don't like those two," she said finally, letting out a heavy sigh before she nodded to Ampersand and the two continued walking down the beach.
'Cammy' had looked over her shoulder several times at the strange woman and Ampersand as she and 'Bryan' made their way towards the Pokemon Center. Something about those two were bothering her as well, but she didn't voice her concerns to Leo, who obviously didn't share her views on the two but was perfectly fine with remarking on how nice-looking the tall woman had been. As the duo approached the Pokemon Center they could see that something was going on, as a fairly large crowd had gathered. Even from that distance Mai could see the very distinctive upper torso and head of an Aggron and she already had a good understanding of what was happening (that and the play-by-play she was receiving from the Rockets on surveillance duty certainly helped a lot as well). "Kasiya and Kilik," she muttered to Leo, who nodded slowly. The two of them pushed their way through to the front of the crowd, much to the dismay of some onlookers. Brat must be trying to get her Larvitar to evolve again, Mai thought, crossing her arms. This should be interesting.
