Kiah slowly opened her eyes to find herself in the infirmary, squinting up at the lights on the ceiling. After letting her eyes adjust, she sat up carefully, noticing that her bandages had been replaced with fresh ones. When she attempted to shift her legs, she found that her left ankle was tied loosely to the bed post, which caused her to blink in disbelief while still trying to shake that sleepy feeling.
"... Is this really necessary...?" she question to no one in particular, moving her leg a bit to test out the knot.

Not feeling like messing with her restrains at the moment, Kiah looked around the room with a bored look on her face, feeling a bit better after finally getting some rest. She spotted the Head Nurse glaring at her and ducked down a bit, averting her eyes and seeing Kanda next to her bed. Her eyes widened in surprise and she blushed a bit, wondering if he'd been there the whole night.
"Um... Kanda? Hey... Kanda?" she said after a few moments of hesitation, trying to wake him up gently.

He easily awoke after the gentle nudges, and lifted his gaze to look at her, blinking. He cleared his throat and shifted in his seat.
"You're awake finally."

"Mmm hmm," she hummed in agreement, smiling softly at him.
"You... Were you really here all night?" she asked while nervously fidgeting with her blankets. "That couldn't have been comfortable..."

He noticed the tie on her ankle and frowned. The nurses must have done it while they were both asleep.
"That is completely uncalled for."
