He bent his knees a little as he scooped her up gently. He tucked one arm under her legs, and supported her shoulders and back with the other, bridal style. She was light, so it took little effort for him.

"... Thank you..." Kiah couldn't stop the blush this time, so she looked down at her hands, making sure he couldn't see it. Though her side still throbbed, she couldn't stop her eyelids from drooping, feeling a bit drowsy from the rhythm of his steps and remembering when her father would do something similar to get her to sleep. Sighing a bit, she coughed into her hand, popping a pill into her mouth carefully. After a few more minutes she was out like a light, breathing evenly once more.

"Don't make a big deal about it," he replied, the same response he seemed to be giving to a lot of people lately, whenever he offered to help.
He continued to walk with her in his arms, and soon felt her body go limp. He realized she had fallen asleep, and wondered how she had fallen asleep so quickly. He just shook his head a little and took her into the Infirmary. It seemed her absence had been noticed, but when the nurses saw him carrying her back safely, they all seemed to back off, especially after the glares he gave them. He gently lowered Kiah into her bed, and watched her for a second before backing up as the nurses moved in to tend to her bleeding. He noticed an empty chair next to her bed, and hesitated before sitting down, deciding to sit with her a while, despite her slumber.

"It's 'Star'," She half-growled in warning, "and I'm not in the mood to humor you."
Although she was tempted to draw her blade and see if her innocence actually could hurt this guy. She highly doubted it'd actually 'kill' him, but she thouught it'd at least hurt quite a bit.
Unfortunately though, she wasn't an idiot. She knew her limits and didn't think she could handle weilding her innocence too much more at the moment, but she wasn't about to show any sign of it.
She'd almost completely exausted her ability on the last mission-sure, she felt fine if not a little tired, but she knew when it was too much-and she didn't particularly feel like waking up in the infirmary and having to put up with their constant fussing... until she snapped, anyway.
It had taken those at the asian branch quite a while to get it into their heads that she didn't need or want the attention and she wans't quite ready to start that little trek just yet.

"You already did." He began floating right above her. "Man, people like you are so fun to fool around with. I get all the best reactions from them. But the best part is when they get mad. When I was alive, I tried to avoid getting them mad, 'cause that meant they would try to hurt me. But now that I'm dead, what does it matter? It's like watching a film now." He laughed some more as he looked down at Star.
