Blushing at the close contact, Kiah took extra care not to get any blood on the man beside her, already cursing herself for pushing it and wearing herself out. She looked up at him and pouted a bit, knowing it was true.
"I could have gotten there myself... It just might have taken a bit longer," she stated, tightening her hold on his shoulder for a second to keep from tripping.

"You're already getting tired," he countered.
He continued to walk with her carefully, keeping a tight hold. When they finally got to her room, he paused, not knowing whether to help her in or wait outside. Personally he never had anyone in his room, and liked to keep it that way.

Kiah paused with Kanda, wondering if she should let him in when she needed to grab her pills. Finally deciding that it shouldn't be a problem since they were in the bathroom, she reached down to grab the handle of her door, usually keeping it unlocked even after she'd been warned.
"It's... not the cleanest at the moment..." she said quietly, opening the door to her room. Inside there were a few misplaced papers on her floor from the fairly neat stacks on her desk, along with a few articles of clothing, like shirts and a coat. There were a few pictures around the room, but all of them seemed to be tampered with, a small chunk ripped off of each.
"I'll just be a second..." Kiah headed into the bathroom and shut the door, leaning against it for a minute.

He stood there awkwardly once they were in her room. He let her go off to the bathroom and he crossed his arms as he waited. He didn't look around at first, but curiosity got the better of him and he finally glanced around. He noticed the pictures and the chunks missing from each, his eyebrows furrowing. He wondered what should have been where the missing chunks were, but didn't look at them for long, soon staring straight ahead again before Kiah could come back into the main room.

Kiah was going through a bit of a dilemma, wondering how many pills she should grab in case she didn't get another chance to come back later. She finally decided just to grab a handful and throw them in a plastic bag, trying to deal with them as quietly as possible. Once she had those in her pocket, she opened the door and looked out at Kanda, seeing him staring straight ahead at the wall and giving him a funny look.
"Alrighty..." she said, giving him a tired smile. "Maybe now that I've got you to help, I'll get back before the Head Nurse notices I'm gone..."

He looked at her nodded without a word and moved to support her again. He helped her from her room and started down the hall again quietly, back towards the infirmary.

Kiah was content with the silence, mostly because she was feeling exhausted from her first walk since she'd been taken to the infirmary. She tried to ignore the pain and keep an even pace, but her breathing was already getting heavy with the effort it was taking.

He noticed her increasingly labored breathing, and finally came to a halt. He watched her for a second before speaking.
"You sound tired....maybe I should carry you the rest of the way," he offered before he could stop himself.

"Oh... Uh... Um..." she stuttered in between breaths, trying to keep the blush off her cheeks. The offer was unexpected, but it was nice to hear, all the same. Before she turned it down to keep things from getting too awkward she thought about it for a second, wondering if she should keep straining her wound.
"Uh... If it's alright... I don't want to be a bother..." she said, looking away in embarrassment.
