Sigh. A friend of mine from class died last week. I didn't even know until tonight. She was on her way back from Miami and was in a car accident.
I didn't know her that well, but we often hung out after class. Damn, she sat right next to me. It's so hard to comprehend I will never see her walk into class again. She was only 19.

emo That reminds me of when I got a call from my best friend while in China. The fact that he was calling me meant something was up, I just never would have thought it was because of the death of a friend. (he was 23)

Streamjumper Skizzors LunaInverse Skizzors Who scheduled the last day of school on the first day of AnimeNEXT?! Is it because you guys had a few snow days over the winter? It shouldn't be.. we're allowed four snow days before they started adding onto the end of the year, and we only had one or two. If nothing's happening, I'm skipping. Mom agrees. stare But according to the calendar, there's supposed to be some sort of testing -- I hope it doesn't apply to me.. Not that I'm encouraging anything here... but there'd be no class that day if the school just happened to... Idunno... be rubble... Just sayin'. I focused on the middle text first, then went back to read it. I'm cleaning the water off my laptop now. xd

Peppermint Elf On a side note, I told Luna and Stream at AB that my dad was coming home. Seems they won't actually release him until the landlord puts in a wheelchair ramp and gets it certified. We applied all over for grants and funds to get a wheelchair ramp put in. HOWEVER! Oneida Indian Nation called today and said "Hey... we have a TOWNHOUSE with a wheelchair ramp. You can move in next month." eek Nabs-mom was crying. heart Wow, that's really great news. 3nodding Here's to things moving forward.

With summer (and work opportunities) coming up though, I may hop on then. Always good to throw down with the guild for a bit.
