He chuckeld, "well we could always try and find some food." His sromach rumbled almost as if on cue. He put his hands in his pockets, and scanned the sorrounding area a little bit.

"You'll be the only one eating." She said automatically. "Well, we should start looking, because this might take a while. Unless, there could be a survivor around here." Echo said thoughtfully. "That's ironic. 'The flood didn't kill you? Well allow me the honors.' "

"Thanks, I am pretty hard to kill though. Hmmm, where is everyone?" He started walking in some random direction. He kick a tipped over trashcan. Sending it flying a large ways away.

"As am I. Although, people have tried, and damn near done it, too." She laughed softly. Walking quietly behind him, she stared at the back of his shoes.

As they walk a group of crazed looter run by scream profanity and pilagings. Jax ignored them and continued talking. "Same here but I've had a couple get real close to off'ing me. If it werent for dumb luck I would have been dead a long time ago." He looked back at Echo and smiled, "So where did you go during the flood."

"Huh..?" She asked, wondering what he was talking about. "Oh, yeah.. the flood. I went and slept on roofs and hid in really tall buildings." Thinking for a minute, she said quietly, "It didn't seem like I could go anywhere else, you know.. Where'd you go?"

"I pretty much did the same as you for a while, but then I left New York and visited my family. Turns out that my parents are dead been so for a long time." He yawned and turned to face her walking backwards.

"Dead.." Echo repeated. "That's.. " Her voice faded out as she kept walking and looking directly into Jax's eyes. "..No fun." She finished finally, looking away. "Don't trip, or I'll probably trip too." She mused.

"Right good point." He turned around and almost fell He regained his balance ungracefully. He slowled his pace until he matched hers. "Yup dead good ridance too, those bastards threw me out of a car in the middle of know where."

"How rude of them." Echo chimed, searching for something else to stare at. She stopped walking abrubtly. "Is that.. a person..?" She asked, staring up at what looked like someone hanging from a street light, that was dripping flesh-colored globs.

Since the stench of death was everywhere he didnt notice the body until, he looked where Echo was looking. "That was a person I think." JAx continued walking towards the body slowly though, cause there has been some sort of disease infecting Immortals lately.

Echo stepped infront of Jax and turned to face him. "Are you crazy? That has got do be dripping with infections and disease." She said. "And I really don't want you to get all sick. No fun without you."

Finn had decided to go roller bladeing today and was dashing down the streets dogeing and hopping over bodies with little effort, but the stench comming from the corpses was so overpowering to her sencitive nose that she had a surgen's mask on, and yet she could still smell the faint sent of rotting flesh.

"Crazy.... Yes but I dont really want to get sick, thanks for your concern. Its just not right though to leave a person linched like that." He smiled and stared into Echo's eyes.

Echo stared back, but after a few moments her gaze moved to Finn. "Hi Finn.." She muttered, stepping away from Jax. "How're you..?" She asked Finn, looking back to Jax.
