*Noting to himself how closely Baizou kept to the fire and how avidly Trina avoided it, Li'ad decided to himself that perhaps now wasnt the time for snow. His eyes briefly glowed a bit brighter than normal as he canceled the cold domain spell he cast outside. The snow fall stopped as quickly as it started, returning to the downpour of rain that quickly started to melt the bit of snow that had gathered on the ground.*

Lily scowled at Arlen, then shook her walking stick at him. "No. I don't want to lay around in bed all day. If the floor would stay put, I wouldn't even need this thing. I'm fine, so shush." she told him, then smiled and blew him a kiss. "I'm okay for now, I promise. Not hungry, but okay." she told him.

Trina shook her head no, about to agree with Arlen, when her eyes snapped back to the window, the rain falling again. How nifty... She thought, smiling at the window for a bit, then blinking, remembering there were people here. "That is an interesting talent you have. The rain follows me, but to change it at will, it's state of the whole storm, amazing." She said. Trina herself could will water to change it's form, but only if she was touching it. Otherwise, no good. She smilied at Li'ad.

"Lily," Arlen said walking closer to her and speaking softly so the others wouldn't need to hear. "You know you're not fine, and Cerri said that you need to eat as much as possible. Please just at least sit down on the couch and I'll bring you some food. For me?"

"Ice is as much a part of me as anything else." *Li'ad says with a bit of a glint in his eyes.* "It is a power born to my kind. Water and steam are just other aspects of the ice."

"I'm not going to die today." Lily told him crossly, then blinked. "I mean... I'm sorry. I know that I should listen to you when you tell me to do things; it's the proper way of things. Sorry." Meekly, she headed over to the couch, eyes downcast; despite everything, she was still wearing the necklace Crystal had given her.

Baizou could feel the temperature rise and breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you." He said. He didn't want to admit his relief.

Trina pondered this dark eyes curious. "Yes...they are." She said, slightly impressed. Then again, why not? Though Trina was born of water, needed it to live, could breathe it, could talk with it nearly, others with the same seeming connection intrigued her.

Arlen frowned, he thought she was apologizing for talking about her dieing, which had indeed struck him painfully, but it still felt odd to him. Sighing he entered the kitchen and fixed up a meal of things someone who is sick or not very hungry could eat with relative ease. Salad, chicken with rice and veggies, some beef stirfry, grilled cheese, and mashed potatoes were among the various selections that he prepared for Lily.

Lily set her walking stick on the floor as she first sat on the couch, then stretched out on it, closing her eyes as she waited. After a moment, she opened them again, gold and silver flecks still overpowering the green, and gazed around the room, watching the others.

*Li'ad looked at Trina, silver eyes still glowing softly as they always did, betraying nothing of what went on in his mind. He pondered what kind of connection Trina must have to the rain and what kind of power she was born to to make the rain follow her. He knew all the different races born to such powers back home, but he wasnt sure if this was even the same plane of existance.*

Trina tilted her head slightly, dark eyes curious. He had not said anything, perhaps she had accidentally mis-spoke. "Did I say something incorrectly?" She asked, replaying in her mind.

Arlen came out carrying a large tray stacked with food. Carefully he carried it over to Lily and set it down on one of those things from the restaurants that you put trays on. "Eat what you , can, but don't make yourself sick, okay?" Arlen asked, sitting down next to Lily.

"No, I dont believe you misspoke." *Responding while wondering if he himself said something out loud or broadcasted his thoughts on the matter.* "Why do you ask that?"

Lily'd sat up when he approached and, on seeing the amount of food, turned slightly green. "Okay... I'll try." she murmured, reaching out for the grilled cheese sandwich gingerly. Tucked up to his side, she picked her way through half of that, a few mouthfuls of chicken, and all of the mashed potatoes. "Can I be done now?"
